I find it appalling when a persons speech is censored, in this forum or other forums. Although it is necessary at times to enforce the support for other higher priority considerations, such as but not limited to public safety.
@SlyPokerDog walks this line quite well, in that he has published the defined rule of, no personal insults will be allowed. While I can find more than a little disagreement with what he defines or sees as a personal insult, his rule is understandable, and easy enough to restrict ones self and remain in compliance.
We now seem to be entering a new era, where the rules are not defined, perhaps there is no rule that can be expressed, other than the post did not please the moderator. I sure hope we do not have members that like to see censorship of post that do not please them. Failing to hit the "like" button is one thing, supporting undefined righteous censorship is quite a big step toward the intolerable.
