He’s who shot and Killed the Legislator in Minnesota.
He killed two people in cold blood and their dog.
He did it for political reasons.
For some reason that guy gets almost no name recognition. But everyone knows who killed Charlie Kirk.
Just seems like one act of violence doesn’t get the same treatment as the other.
He shot Matt Hortman 17 times. Pretty horrific if you ask me.

Not that you (or anyone else here who actually wants to be honest) doesn't know this, but which name allows for a narrative to be spun?

Vance wasn't a name/motive of convenience like Tyler initially was. More people knew who kirk was vs Hortman. Her death couldn't be used as spin because those gullible idiots wouldn't be and couldn't be bothered to care about a 1: woman and 2: Democrat dying.

The media saw no benefit in keeping her name (or his name) in the conscience of the country.

Piggybacking on this, as someone who spent much of his life in the media and taught journalism, I couldn't help but take notice of how wishy-washy CNN, which the right always paints incorrectly at left-wing-sponsored television, has been in covering Kirk's murder.

First, I keep watching on the chyron that one of the bullets that was found had the "Hey fascist, catch" engraved on it. That's reckless, because Trump has said people calling him fascist is dangerous. Meanwhile, taking that bullet in the context with the message of the other bullets shows it's pretty likely gamer slang, which makes it appear the suspect is a groyper, which would then make sense in why he might try to shoot Charlie Kirk.

Then, on what I've come to regard as the best show CNN offers, the late-night roundtable chaired by Abby Phillip, the host actually asked one of the panel to explain what a groyper is and why it might matter here. The panelist, who did a story on groypers a few years ago, quickly explained what they were but then qualified that there was no real reason to believe Robinson was a groyper yet.

This came just about five minutes after a right-winger on the panel said without pushback that he naturally believed the shooting was by someone on the political left just because of who the target was.
 
I saw someone post a request to define a single political stance of Charlie Kirk.

Most responses were barely political.

Some really, really bad takes in this forum. It’s like Drudge Report for aggregating the worst possible and unproven theories from around the internet and dropping them off as hard, irrefutable fact.

And the hypocrisy/irony of this is utterly lost on the Right. Or more likely, they just don't give a shit. For years now, MAGAworld has cried crocodile tears about "censorship" by the left. Time and time again they whined about their First Amendment rights being taken away (and to be absolutely honest, I never understood WTF they were talking about, because they never had a problem saying exactly what they wanted). And now they want to punish others for exercising their First Amendment rights. What a bunch of fragile snowflakes. They make the Left's fragile snowflakes of 2016 look conservative by comparison. This country has truly slipped into a Moronacracy.......

It's not that they didn't have a problem saying it, they have a problem with being held accountable for saying it.
 
They are going to brute force the trans angle no matter how tenuous of a connection they have to make. His uncle's barber sold weed to a guy who dated a trans woman.



That being said, I see people convinced the shooter is a Nazi groyper. Unless the evidence has changed since midday yesterday and I'm out of the loop, not really seeing anything concrete there either.
