You seem to have forgot about all the other archetypes. One in particular.
The one where people who feel best when they help someone else improve and better themselves.
Oh and then there are the ones who feel best when they stood for what was right instead of what was popular or comfortable.

that's not "being fair" at all; IMO....by how much in comparison to right wing extremism? Kind of looks like the dishonest both-sides-do-it equation

by my count, in that 10 year period, the 'atrocity scoreboard" reads:

Right Wing extremists - 335
Islamic extremists - 87
Left Wing Extremists - 18

yeah, both sides have committed murder....but one side has done it on a scale that puts it in in a completely different class

No argument there.
I should rephrase that. My thoughts are possibly wrong. It just seems like the left has had it with some of the hate and is starting to hate back.
Honestly I have no numbers to back any of that up.

I didn’t say there were only two. Sorry you misunderstood and thought I was giving a lecture on a subject. Did you want me to do a 12 part series?

I don’t think there is any implication of that. Nothing changed with the right, the left just looks extra shitty right now by comparison.

January 6th kind of laid the groundwork for this. I read so much nonsense from the right about their arsenal and how they love their guns.

If you go back within the past 10 years there’s been more attacks by the right on political figures.

We’ve found out that the left have guns too. And can hit an object.

Now Stephen Miller is going public saying he’s going to ruin random people’s lives that announce they’re happy about the whole Kirk thing on the internet.

I’d say MAGA has way more to do with the political climate than the left. Did they expect it wouldn’t bring out the loonies on the left? Unfortunately, I don’t think this will be the worst of it.
 
It's amazing how deftly they have blamed Obama for this (since you know, he created racism out of thin air).
