I left for a little while and you suddenly think this is over? Seriously? I'm a Colts fan and I consider one ring to be sub-par. One ring isn't the goal by that age, and no one on Miami has died.

The guy is only three years older than me. He's #1 in WS/48 and WS, in his peak seasons, even over Jordan. I'm still here and I'll be here when he wins 2 or 3 in a row.

you need one ring before you can two rings.

You need to learn how to play in the Finals before you get one ring.

Nah brah by age 33 you're done.

If LeBron has one ring at that age I'll be extremely disappointed.

I think he'll end up riding DWade's & Bosh's coat tails for 3-5 rings.

Nah I don't think so. If LeBron doesn't play well this team wins nothing, Wade is too old and WARP projections screw him. Bosh will be more aggressive in the future though. LeBron is more consistent get over it.

One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era.

bwa ha ha!

Yeah, but it should be your first goal. Last I checked, one ring is better than zero.

what in the fucking fuck is this fucking fuckstain of a thread about?

Mark Madsen says 3 feels pretty great.

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

You have some balls to talk trash after losing a finals series you were projected to win because your "best player" doesn't know how to get it done in the final 12 minutes.

The real question here.... will you still be a Lebron fan by the time he is 33? :ghoti::drumroll::shitstorm::blazerwookie::smiley-oscar::wub::smiley-kiss:

Boy, you might want to tell Michael Jordan that...

Who is the next big thing in basketball? Durant? Rose? I expect HK to be a full blown Rose deep throater by the end of next year.

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

Didn't HK admit that he switched teams from the Lakers to the Heat?

He should be banned for that alone.

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

Yes. He's a glorified band wagon fan. He's a stat geek. He gets off to stats. Too bad stats don't measure heart.

That's one hell of a man crush you have on LaBron. Does he know?

Nice punking of a closet "I want your body, LaBron" Heat fan in heat.

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

lebron is gonna give up after they dont win it next year either and demand a trade to the knicks

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

You need to age-adjust your goals dude.

bwa ha ha!

Yeah, but it should be your first goal. Last I checked, one ring is better than zero.

Well you have a loser mentality, the goal by age 33 is multiple rings. After winning 50+ games for a decade one ring is embarrassing like one ring is embarrassing for my Colts team. The Colts are not a model franchise and neither are the Mavs.

They're supposed to be the Lakers or Spurs, teams that also won 50+ games over a decade.

what in the fucking fuck is this fucking fuckstain of a thread about?

It is about the stupid comments I see around here lately, and the future of Miami.

Also this thread is about the surprising similarities between two horse organizations. One from the NFL and the other from the NBA. And how unsatisfying it has been to see them win just once, like the Atlanta Braves.

No thanks and, you keep spelling his name like that..... I don't know why.......

That's one hell of a man crush you have on LaBron. Does he know?

That's one hell of an ignorant analysis, the guy is younger and the superior player it doesn't take a Doctorate degree to figure out.....

What the fuck are you talking about "crush"? He beats Jordan at the same age genius.

lebron is gonna retire if he cant win one in the next two years, hes just too much of a bitch to accept the embarrassment of failure

Yeah the luxuries of being 27 (in 2012) not 33, and having an entire career better than jordan at the same age. Whereas you suck Kobe off when he wins a title like an inefficient ball hog AI clone.

Vinyard it isn't my fault you still cling to Kobe/Kidd/whatever like a loser, and refuse to admit his inferiority.

You'll have to start watching more baseball I guess, the league won't be fun for you. :]

I'm flattered that you hate us, and some of you are his fans actually.

The real question here.... will you still be a Lebron fan by the time he is 33? :ghoti::drumroll::shitstorm::blazerwookie::smiley-oscar::wub::smiley-kiss:

Sure, because he's the most hated and demonized player I've ever seen. I'm drawn to that, and I like this trash talk.

Boy, you might want to tell Michael Jordan that...

Eh really? Most players don't last that long, especially heavier ones.

Who is the next big thing in basketball? Durant? Rose? I expect HK to be a full blown Rose deep throater by the end of next year.

Nah not even close dude. No thanks.

Yeah Kobe has two Final MVPs in a 15 year career, that's not LeBron's goal either sorry.

When you started calling Kobe GOAT ("Greatest of all time") like the biggest nerd ever that's when I started liking James more. I thrive on your hate.

Nice revisionist history, I was a Kobe fan until you couldn't let it go.

I've been a legit James fans through his least popular era, so not sure this makes sense.

Same thing with Kobe when he got bounced against Detroit, and played worse. I was Bryant's fan back then.

Didn't HK admit that he switched teams from the Lakers to the Heat?

He should be banned for that alone.

Not really, I said I like individual players.

But if I did switch teams, good for me not sure why you care so much. Why do I have to be like you? LOL.

Re: Chill out Peyton, I mean Dirk fans. One ring isn't the goal and it isn't your era

You've been a legit LeBron fan since last year's playoffs when Delonte was boning his mom? Well done sir, you're really sticking to your guns.

I'll admit to not reading the Blazers main forum, but I'm pretty sure if I went back through with a fine tooth comb, I wouldn't find anyone saying that this was Dirk's era, considering that wasn't even the best in this era at his position to play professionally in Texas.

I also notice that you like fancy stats that most people don't really go to debate LeBron's place in history over Kobe. Now, LeBron could get there some day, but from a historical stand point, its Kobe and there's no debate needed. I'll let Kobe tell you why.

I'll continue on with other examples that hopefully will help you understand. Want to know why Tim Duncan is the best power forward of this era to play professionally in Texas? I'm not sure that he can figure it out, but maybe you can spot the reason. Want to know why everyone assumes that stats would show that Bill Russell dominated Wilt Chamberlain? Probably because he needs two hands to carry something. Ever wonder why Michael Jordan is considered the greatest of all time? I'm thinking he's wondering that as well.

Lets look at football, since you mentioned it and the same argument exists. Any idea why Tom Brady is the best QB of this era? I could think of another reason, but Tom will give you the first two. Curious about why Joe Montana is in the discussion of greatest QBs of all time? Its not his stats, that's for sure. What's the difference between Peyton Manning and Dan Marino? Peyton has an idea what it could be. When exactly did Drew Brees join the discussion of top QBs in the league? I think this was that exact moment.

Now, this isn't to say that LeBron isn't an all-time great, because he is. But if you're looking at guys at the 2/3 positions, I'm taking Jordan and Kobe before and there are no stats that need to be discussed because those two will be the man on my team and we'll win. LeBron will get picked early in an all-time draft and be the man on that team, but that team isn't beating a Kobe or Jordan team. LeBron is still young and will win a championship or two or three (not seven). He's worthy of being in the discussion with Jordan and Kobe, but he isn't worthy of being mentioned before them (or Shaq, Russell, Wilt, Duncan, Bird, Hakeem, Kareem, Isiah, and Magic). Please note that being in the Jerry West, Karl Malone, Elgin Baylor, Oscar Robertson, Dirk Nowitzki range is a pretty huge accomplishment.
