Parker drives to the hoop a lot more than CJ. CJ shoots way more 3pt shots.

Not a really good comparison, IMO.

Miller wasn't as good a slasher and passer. He could attack close-outs sufficiently well to find an open shot, but he wasn't going to find much success dribbling into traffic.

Nate was a shooting guard...Payton was the pt guard but Nate was a great defender...sort of a west coast Joe Dumars
 
My highest hopes were that Dame and CJ would be like Isiah and Joe, but Dame and Wes were closer to that

CJ is a WAY better 3 point shooter. Light years better.
 
Actually, the most flattering comparison that's appropriate for CJ is, I think, Utah-era Deron Williams. They're pretty similar in size and they both look slow of foot but somehow manage to get where they want to go:

Not bad. Not so similar on defense though as I recall.

I don't see it. TimBug wasn't big on the midrange game. Plus he was like a little bowling ball, and super quick (at least, before the knees went), whereas I see CJ as much more herky-jerky.

[Having said that, watching the video I do kind of see it. He's quick laterally but slower otherwise than I remember.]
