The Magic are on a nine games losing streak and may want to change something.

Would you consider a swap between CJ and Gordon?

Lillard
Connaughton
Aminu
Gordon
Nurkic

That would be a very good defensive team.

Straight up, no. But I'd probably do CJ/Vonleh for Gordon/Fournier.

Not Orlando either--they'd be getting robbed in that deal. But that's probably what it would take for me to get on board with a CJ-for-Gordon trade.

If you follow this up with a Mo for Courtney Lee trade, then Pat & Aminu can go back to the bench.
Lillard / Napier
Lee / Connaughton
Gordon / ET
Vonleh / Aminu
Nurkic / Ed

Okay, so I'll try not to give the usual knee-jerk reaction to your proposal.

Isn't he just a younger and somewhat better version of Aminu? Solid D and good finisher around the rim, but I don't think he has a good enough shooting stroke or handles to play SF in Stotts' system, and we have a half dozen other prospects at PF. If you traded CJ for him, unless you get back another really good 2G, the Blazers would be significantly worse, IMO.

Assuming GrandJury isn't Tunchi, would you trade Portland2014 for Tunchi?

That's a more debatable scenario than this trade thread.

Can we ban his thread-making privileges?
