well that sucks. He hasn't been some world beater, but he has made some good shots for us and plays decent defense. Luckily he should still be able to get his minutes back when he returns.

Last night CJ had 18 minutes, Blake had 29, Crabbe had 21.

Blake is about tapped out at that 29. With Batum back (getting 34) I can see Crabbe with 14 at SF and 7 at SG.
Since Wes will get his 35 minutes at SG, Dame playing with Blake will cover those extra 6 minutes or so very easily.

Time for CJ to work on that left hand. He's young, he'll heal. In the meantime, I think Crabbe will get more valuable experience playing with the second unit, which will be where he's playing anyway as Nico returns. Didn't Nico fracture a finger last season or was is the season before?

I'll give CJ a lot of credit though. Just read the website article and didn't realize he made 2 freethrows, grabbed 1 rebound and played 4 minutes with a fractured index finger! That's some grit right there!

I think this hurts more than we're giving it credit for. CJ has had his ups and downs, but he's still one of the only players that can get his own shot off the bench. Barton as well, but as you all know, Will's jumper is not nearly as threatening to defenders as CJ's is. I think Will Barton will get the go ahead minutes from CJ's absence for this very reason. Allen Crabbe can't create a shot for himself. It'd be nice to make a deal for a Kevin Martin, Aaron Afflalo or Gerald Green soon.

I don't think Olshey would want his 7.5 mil salary that he's on the books for next year. Plus, look at all the games he's missed in his career. He averages 45 games a year in his career. I'd rather put that money towards keeping this current roster together.

CJ has not been creating his own shot this year. I know he can do that in summer league, and D-League, but in the NBA, he mostly scores as a spot up shooter. He's made 16 baskets this year, and 14 of them are assisted.

CJ has the potential to be more than a spot up shooter, but it seems he makes a lot of silly turnovers attempting to do so.

I'd definitely like to acquire Afflalo though.

They won't get one. They've been talking about moving him for a year or two.

He isn't making a ton of money. I'd trade them Robinson, Wright, and Barton or CJ for Shumpert/filler.

They don't really have much "filler" to include. Aside from Melo and Amare, the only guys on their roster who make more than 2M are Bargs, Calderon, Dalembert and the Smiths. I don't see a match.
