Not in my experience. Their customer service is garbage and returning their crappy laptops for repair is a pain. I know this from trying to help people repair their Dells because they've given up on getting any help from Dell. Dell's warranty is nothing compared to Fry's or even Best Buy. I'd go with a Sony Vaio before a Dell and I haven't been impressed with the one Vaio I bought...has Dell improved in recent years?
