it's good to see him post, regardless of content, just because he was a nice guy from OLive? that seems a little odd. Why would one have to learn we're mellow to take it down a notch? Why not just start down a notch?

that's one of the bad things about catching up on a thread that is very old. Some people stop paying attention to it (guilty as charged) and don't even know you've bumped/quoted something they said.

Seem? I suppose it could seem to you that he was being singled out (and you'd be mistaken), but when you add the trolling bit, that's you, man -- mod or not. You made that up on your own. Let me let you in on another clue, I don't know these individuals, I'm responding to what they write (and sometimes to what I take them as implying).

But anyway, regarding your first point, I was doing nothing but catching up. I start with what I last read and go in the direction of what I haven't yet read. The posts you see reflect that order and not any effort to single anyone out. I do tend to respond more to the posts I think are wrong (in some respect) than those I agree with.

Please, as a moderator, bear with me. You say You're "not sure what" I'm doing...(okay, I buy that) but then how can you also conclude that "it has no place here?" I mean, you admit to not knowing what it is I'm doing.

Anyway, for your edification, I was ironically pointing to the inappropriateness of the photo. Are you wanting to ban irony?

If you had bothered to notice, I already had been using it (but thanks for trying to present the appearance of usefulness-- and I mean that). However, I'm not sure it violates forum rules or terms of use anyway.

(love that quote button...so clean now) The odd approach from my perspective is the pretense of understanding a few of you show. Personally I detest the style of many, but I'd be one happy mother fucker if that was all I had to whine about. Moderator, moderate thyself.

Just for the record, I am of the belief that making you a mod was a mistake (only so you know where I'm at and where I come from when responding to your posts). I'm basing that on your inappropriate responses to my posts, nothing else. I'm sure you're fine when you know what you're dealing with.

Anyway, I'm not going to start some cause to have your status changed -- I don't abide in that sort of thing -- and I just don't find that much value here to be here that much, but I did want you to know .. you know, so in the future you will at least have that honest information with which to judge if I am singling you out.

I do realize that if I had your same skills, I would probably do things like you do. If I had your education and your life experiences to date, I suspect I'd even agree with what you say.

right now, I'm responding to a post you made. but usually, I'm here to talk about the Blazers, or occasionally participate in threads that go off on odd tangents and soliloquies that end up having nothing to do with the original subject.
