Yeah, hard for me to believe China's numbers dropped that much and that quick.

China is lying, but they also put in basically draconian laws concerning movement and taking people off the street.
We had people playing soccer last weekend while they are supposed to be on lockdown.
Should we do it Wuhan style then? Force people into steel boxes in the back of trucks and cart them off if they don't stay in...execute them out of sight and dump them in mass graves, then lie about the numbers?

EXCLUSIVE: 'Gift from God' coronavirus 'cure' touted by Donald Trump is promoted by a FAKE Stanford University 'researcher' who is actually a cryptocurrency-hustling Long Island lawyer whose bogus science paper was removed by Google
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...y-hustler-fake-Stanford-University-claim.html
- Trump has repeatedly touted anti-malaria drug chloroquine as a 'cure' for coronavirus, calling it a 'miracle from God' and a 'game-changer'
- But the first person to promote it as a potential cure is revealed to have posed as a Stanford University researcher when he was nothing of the kind
- He is actually a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and member of his family's legal firm in Melville, Long Island
- Rigano, 34, who uses his parents' address on public records, wrote a bogus scientific paper with another crypto investor, an opthamologist from Michigan
- It touted chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine as a potential cure but was removed from Google's public documents for breaching their terms of use
- The document claimed to be supported by Stanford and University of Alabama at Birmingham researchers but both institutions say that is false
- Rigano got his document tweeted by Elon Musk then went on a string of Fox News shows, not correcting Stuart Varney who called him 'doctor' three times
- The 'cure' was then touted heavily by Trump at the White House - despite Tony Fauci using the same briefing to say evidence for it is at best anecdotal
- Rigano set up a secretive LLC in February and has previously tried to raise funds to 'cheat death, cure cancer and end Alzheimer's'
Good to see Trump listening to professionals
I think your news isn't correct, or at least not telling the whole story. I saw the stuff about chloroquine as a possible cure from Japan back in february. They were starting trial tests for it then.View attachment 30392

I don't have a ton of time to look it up, but here's a quick link from mid-february.

If you believe the "official" China numbers. I don't.
Does our federal administration have control of the numbers being released/reported by the individual states?and can we beliewve our administrations numbers? They seem to lie a lot as well.
It might be? lol. Maybe they made the article said it was from Japan, I have no idea...No no no, that doesn't work with our angle. FAKE NEWS!!!
Whatever you want to do to make yourself feel better. 'If you believe the "official" China numbers. I don't.

Nobody said the current status in the US is good. Just saying that the idea that China didn't actually have more is laughable.Whatever you want to do to make yourself feel better. '
100000 cases fucking sucks no matter how you slice it, even if China is masking their numbers. That is where we will be this wknd.

Why do you even need another country's response?Nobody said the current status in the US is good. Just saying that the idea that China didn't actually have more is laughable.
IMO, the really interesting case will be India. If their numbers end up better than the US's (and I won't have any reason to doubt their legitimacy), that will be the true indictment of the US's system and response.
It’s not debatableWhy do you even need another country's response?
We had more time to control the spread than any western country. We had more time to build the infrastructure to address the unmet medical needs. We have more $ and resources than any other developed country. The realities we are seeing today in our hospitals are enough to tell me this admin has blood on its hands.
More than a thousand people have died from this here over the past week or so. More than a third of 9/11 and almost a half of Pearl Harbor.
I am really curious to see if this asshole will show one ounce of compassion and offer condolences to those who have died. How much do you want to bet he will bring up the economy before he brings up those who perished in his PC today?
Yes but what is more funny/interesting is Charlie Kirk arguing for workers rights and health care.
It's not about the drug, it's about the phoney promoting it.
I got some advice. Don't watch it.Oh I can't wait! Trump's and his task force is about to do a White House briefing again.
Yes, but that article you posted isn't being fair (so what else is new in these days). That guy that's referenced has zero credibility, but there are credible sources who are supporting the drug's use. They seem to relate back to a French biologist's report on them:
https://www.thelocal.fr/20200324/ch...french-scientists-say-could-treat-coronavirus
This is what the Surgeon General, Jerome Adams has to say about it:
“Here is the thing about those drugs: There is may and actually does,” Adams noted. “These may be promising. So we are trying to make them as available as possible to people across the country. We need to verify through studies that they actually work.”
“But I also, again, want to go back to the fact that it’s not practical to think we are going to treat our way out of this problem with new drugs or with ventilators or with supplies,” he continued. “We need to lower demand. We need more people talking about staying at home.”
Trump is being very reckless in touting this drug as some panacea that's going to resolve COVID-19, but we can't let hatred of Trump support the use of other propaganda that's just intended to make him look worse than he is. There are studies underway in the US, France, and elsewhere that will tell us in a month or so whether there's anything to it, but in the meantime we can only do what they're telling us to slow the spread through isolation and social distancing.
Then Fox News needs to use the credible sources.
Why use that dipshit?
If the drug treatment is legit, not saying it is or isn't, if the drug treatment is legit, using a fucking phoney as your expert hurts that fact.
Seems like it all boils down to propaganda. One propaganda machine, talking about Trump and Fox news (so basically another propaganda machine). Then Fox News needs to use the credible sources.
