Trump tweets anything that supports anything he says. Still doesn’t mean that the guy is the primary source of Trump’s knowledge about the drug.

The last line of the quote you gave doesn’t seem to me to track with fact about the French scientist who is the primary source on this. From the link I gave above:

“The possible treatment has been heavily promoted by Professor Didier Raoult (above) a microbiologist based in Marseille who specialises in the study of infectious diseases.

Professor Raoult reported that after treating 24 patients for six days with Plaquenil, the virus had disappeared in all but a quarter of them. The research has not yet been peer reviewed and published.

He told French media over the weekend: "I am convinced that in the end everyone will use this treatment. It's just a matter of time before people will accept it and say, this is what we have to do."

That seems pretty consistent with the rosy portrait Trump painted.

Am I a believer? Nope. Am I a Trump supporter? Heaven forbid. I am just fed up with the half truths an crap being thrown around about this for political gain. I am absolutely NOT saying that was your intent, but that article pissed me off. Trump does a fine job of coming across as an idiot. He doesn’t need any help from these kinds of articles.

The article from the Daily Mail also discusses Raoult's study.

But again, I'm not bashing the drug. I'm just pointing out that the guy on Fox News is a liar and what he's saying is dangerous and not factual.

You do understand my point though? Its not like they named that article by accident. I also noted earlier that Japanese scientists were talking about the use of that drug before those guys were.
Also the amount of confusing and conflicting information out there is just crazy and while Im not saying, “its the media!!! They dont want Trump re-elected” like Trump is, I do think their is a lot of politics and propaganda going on. Honestly Trump is a HUGE part of it, why else would he need to have a trump rally disguised as a press conference every day?

That is being done now. Trump was a tool to present it the way he did, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t something to using the combination of drugs. We should all hope that there is, but not make any plans on the notion that it will work.

I'm no epidemiologist, but this would have to mean that the people who are suddenly dying in NYC now have had the disease for months rather than weeks.
Maybe that's the way the disease works, but no one else seems to think so.

The biggest disappointment has been Birx. She has become a shrill, smooth talking liar for Trump. Since she spewed that absolute bullshit stat about testing more people than Korea in 8 days than they did in 8 weeks, i knew she was a fucking POS. She is lying. Mentioning this stat without putting it in per capita context is an absolute and total deception. In America, we have tested approx 1 in every 1000 citizens. In Korea, they tested nearly 1 in 150. I can't believe she threw all those healthcare workers literally risking their lives under the bus like that today.

holy fuck, they have brainwashed people. WHO FUCKING CARES ABOUT TOTAL TEST NUMBERS? It is an absolutely meaningless stat without putting in context of the population.

The first positive case in Korea appeared on the same day as it did in the US, yet we are now the epicenter with more cases every next day, and they are actually having cases dwindle by the day.
 
I still also can't believe we had over a half hour of Trump in front of the media today and he didn't offer a single semblance of remorse or a condolence for all those who passed this week. 1200 Americans. And not one word to mourn them. This is your president? It's a fucking shame.

Not a precisely a lie, but certainly misleading. The tests here are too late and too few per capita. Testing here was and still is a massive, massive failure.

It is finally getting better, that much is true. But the horse is long since out of the barn and running wild through the house.

I’ve come to the realization that Trump is a gift from God sent to us to protect us from this unfathomable pandemic. He’s handled it beautifully. He is the messiah
