the shameful thing about the trump camp crowing about testing results now is that the current level of testing is where we should have been 3 weeks ago, and that we weren't is a massive failure of leadership by the administration. Hillary wasn't responsible for that and neither was Pelosi. The buck stops on trump's desk...he knows that and it's why he's been thrashing about, saying "china virus" like a deranged parrot, and blaming everybody but himself while telling states they are mostly on their own...

and now apparently, he's enough of an expert on pulmonary issues he can judge how many ventilators NY needs better than doctors and hospitals in NY.

Trump added: “Look, it’s a very bad situation. We haven’t seen anything like it, but the end result is we’ve got to get back to work, and I think we can start by opening up certain parts of the country.”

the orange buffoon can't override the orders of governors, he doesn't have as much control over what states do, and if he starts trying to punish states that keep stay-at-home orders in place that would be about 78 levels lower than petty

It's still a lower percentage than during the Great Depression but that percentage is certain to grow to an alarming magnitude.

I knew a dumbshit woman that my cousin married who touted healthy diets that would prevent disease and promote longevity. She especially touted Adelle Davis who died at 70 years old of cancer. She placed her parents on her diet that she proclaimed would prevent cancer. Her mom got cancer in her 60s. My cousin's wife (now divorced) sent her mom to Mexico to take laetrile treatments to cure her cancer. Her mom expired prematurely because she substituted laetrile for the chemotherapy she should have continued.

This dumbshit had a masters in sociology and worked for what was once known as Child Welfare and now Child Protective Services. She encouraged her children to smoke weed in their early teens. How can people be this stupid and get responsible jobs?

You think there's value in looking at the absolute number of tests here? We have tested more than 10x fewer people here for every 1000 compared to Korea.

Right. Making a mountain of a molehill and skewing facts to fit their narrative while minimizing the crisis is what the admin is trying to do. They are deliberately misleading people by making grandiose claims without actually putting them in context.

It's like.... no shit Korea didn't test more people, they don't have that many people to test. It's 1 in 150 they are testing, while we are doing 1 in 1000. Looking at raw numbers in this is useless, and I'm trying to point that out so people see past the bullshit. Technically being true is pointless, while not point stuff in context, and it's Trumpism 101. The fact that Birx now is placating this fool and speaking to only an audience of one is fucking scary.
