Wear a SCARF: Donald Trump tells people to cover their faces 'if they want to do it' as he acknowledges there are NOT enough masks to recommend that everyone wear one when they go outside
  • President Trump floated that Americans can wear scarves in lieu of masks if they're concerned about contracting coronavirus
  • 'Scarves are very good and they can use a scarf and we're only talking about a limited period of time,' Trump said Tuesday
  • Health officials have been hesitant to tell all Americans to don masks outside in fear that it will strain the medical community's ability to get them

OK, so some mistakes were made early on. Hindsight.

Hindsight is how we evaluate job performance.

Nonetheless, Trump has made some pretty consistent positive strides moving forward.

I think he's been anything but consistent. Just a few days ago he was saying let's fill up the churches on Easter, for example.

I maintain the keeping that continuity - and reelecting - is the best choice.

"Ok, Mr. Trump, let's do your annual review.

You played golf when you were supposed to be working, and when you weren't playing golf you were on social media.
You insulted our customers and gave company secrets to our competitors.
You lied constantly in order to try to make yourself look better.
You burned down the factory and 3000 employees died.

Really great work, Donald! Look for something extra in your paycheck starting this month."

Re-electing him to keep continuing forward might be the single dumbest, ill-informed and logically vacant reason to re-elect him or any president who has bungled and botched the job as much as he has.

Your boy is a disaster and pretty much proves it every day with his BS press briefings that add very little to the efforts to combat this. Dodge deflect and defer is his MO and I have been noticing more of that in your posts.

And you'll be voting for your boy, Joe, and live happily ever after. que sera sera

C'mon man... Trump says that if you want him to be nice to you, you need to show your appreciation.

Well, at least barfo will likely be alive ever after under Joe...but the forecast for our future based on Trump's history of inaction looks rather cloudy at best.

"What will be will be" sounds like someone who is finally accepting the inevitable.

The bestvthing for everyone including Trump would be for him to say to the public,

“im not a medical expert. We will follow the advise of our medical experts and i defer all questions regarding the virus and how to stop the spread, to them.”

Then step aside and let them speak.
Period.
Anything less really is foolish.

Well, we kind of have an idea. Mass deaths means mass graves, and intelligence can pick that up, as we've seen in Iran. So while China probably is undercounting by a factor of 2 or 3, and maybe by as much as 10x, it's hard to believe that they are undercounting by 100x.
And if they are 'only' undercounting by 10x, we'll still blow past them (80,000 dead here by August according to the best case scenario presented at the White House today).

But you have a point about them relaxing their restrictions. That could lead to the virus coming back on them quickly. However, they can knock it down quickly in ways that we can't - not likely we'll be welding anyone into their apartment, for example.

Have you read about the thousands of urns that have been stacked up in China?

Great, so South Korea stands out alone. Hmmm.....I wonder if part of that is due to the folks they're around over thar.

At any rate, thanks for the one-hit wonder.

It didn't surprise me one bit in the way South Korea responded. The need to keep their K Pop stars healthy and safe. That is BIG business over there.

https://www.who.int/news-room/artic...-the-outbreak-of-novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov/

On 30th January 2020, the WHO Director General has declared the outbreak of novel coronavirus 2019- nCoV as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), based on the advice of the Emergency Committee under the International Health Regulations (2005).1 Following that determination, WHO did not recommend any travel or trade restrictions, based on the current information available.

Never said it was today.

It was what the "experts" were putting out there.

Well, in that tweet, the "experts" are just reporting what the Chinese Authorities are reporting, not what they say.
