I just never pointed fingers at people that had the same beliefs as I did at the time.

I still haven't been proven wrong about all the complaining I've done about our society being dependent on the chinese.

In hindsight I have been proven correct. I couldn't even get anyone to admit that Trump was right to try and end this...barfo almost did. I think Marz did but everyone else made jokes. Crickets....

I do not doubt it, but I think that if we were, on a federal level, much faster to shelter in place, worked much faster to obtain PPE and ventilators and increase the testing - we would have been much better.

I will repeat what I said, I do not think Trump is responsible for the virus. He is responsible for the horrible, slow, disorganized response. That is 100% what my complaint is. He is the one that ignored early reports about it, the one that inaccurately described it as the flu, under control etc... and is still responsible for the lack of national shelter in place and national purchase and distribution of supplies.

I believe it spread through the west coast early this year. I think when Nancy Pelosi was running around Chinatown telling people to come hang out it had already moved through.

I have no clue if that is true or not, but I know for sure that she is not a part of the executive branch. Her job was to get the funding via legislation - and she did that in a competent manner.

NY and the 8 billion people packed into a tiny space are why this seems so terrible.

Explain why Las Vegas isn't a disaster zone right now. Like I said, I was at a Knights game in March 1st. There were thousands of people packed in but we were outdoors. Not on a subway.
I don't have hospital stats from January but there were tons of people I know that were sick that month. My boss is one and he tested neg for the flu.

How could I? I have no info about it - and even if some places were spared by sheer luck - it does not justify the lack of response when we knew that some places were not and knew how contagious it is.

All these things that you say, even if some of them are right - are no excuse for the response. We have a government for a reason - and this administration has not done it's job properly. It's really simple as that.

I know for a fact that Olympus moved it's factories from China to Vietnam. Not sure why and if the Japanese government was involved, but I know it for a fact.

Why would I want to wade through PAGES of old posts?...just post the specific post you're referring to.

Don't know what your problem is with me and really don't care...but if you want to keep carrying on the same way of cluttering up the board by bashing each other, that's up to you. That goes for JB as well.

It is quite interesting to me to go back and see what people were thinking as this unfolded.

If I had actually read this thread when it was happening I would have remembered the posts and wouldn't need reminded like you do.

I don't remember everything that is written here but my bondo filled brain makes me look like rainman compared to some of you guys.

Do you actually read what people post or do you just look for who posted something and hit like and move on?

Trump's ok with it as long as there not included in the numbers count. As long as nobody can prove it, Trump can deny it.

Its that type of behavior right there that has turned sooo many people off from this place and when it happens, those who see it find it hard to not call the bluff. If you leave it to your hate of Trump(Which I don't understand, no hate is good) and not the people who are republican and vote for Trump, then many discussions would go much better. You and several other posters on a daily basis continually try to call out posters you have "deemed as a Trumpsters" and it gets so old, and obviously never helps to start a real constructive conversation.

I love debating. I love constructive criticism and going at people with opposing opinions. Its how I believe I continue to learn and not be stuck in my ways, is by keeping an open ear to the opposite opinion.

But that doesn't happen here. So many people who would love to debate, are just like... why bother? This is a joke.

I started a thread a while back truly wanting to have quality discussions about peoples' political stances without bringing into the equation Trump, or any other candidate and was laughed out of the thread. Only a couple people even gave quality responses and one of them even got frustrated with me after a short back and forth.

I'm not saying people on the other side of the fence, including myself, are innocent, but the reality is this place has mostly democratic members and some of them tend to go after the ones that aren't, in thread after thread after thread, but then when a retaliation comes.. its "cry holy murder"

This goes hand in hand with what I was discussing with you a few days ago.

Must be a weird scale you're judging people on. To me the difference between someone like Madea Benjamin and either of them is the distance from here to some planet we haven't even discovered yet.

I know Trump is a better and more honest person than Biden but it isn't that bad.
 
I have no idea who Madea Benjamin is.
