I agree, though what is the definition of extreme tyranny? I do not believe this is it. I did mention guns have no place in protesting, when the protest is about something not already creating a civil unrest with a violent foundation.
Slavery absolutely had a violent foundation. Every Tyrant is different, but extreme tyranny I assume, would include forms of violent behavior/acts upon its victims.

Nothing like that is going on here. The government isn't patrolling the streets tossing tear gas at those vio9lating the stay at home ordinance.


My fear is with thier guns, it will escalate into such a thing.

so, the UW IHME model finally discarded the assumption that every state would have stay-at-home-and social distancing policies thru August 4. Prior to today, the white house has been all over those models because they have had the low-ball death and new case numbers. Trump likes Covid happy-talk after all.

so then, the result was the model raised the Aug. 4 estimated death toll from 74,000 to 135,000

and of course, big surprise....the CDC which had those IHME models front and center on their Covid entry page....dropped them like a hot potato. Can't be realistic when trump wants to change the conversation to some mirage about the economy re-igniting
