I'd say some are sketchy, mainly for some 3rd world countries and possibly China. But most of those totals are likely very accurate

toward the top, at 3 deaths/million. May be reasons to doubt that number, but keep in mind it's a nation of 1.4 billion people, and the government there has the power to completely lock down a region, as they did with Wuhan

First you asked if hospitals were "overwhelmed yet" and after being shown that the answer in many cases by many people was "yes", you now imply that doesn't count and now want to know if they are "full"?

...what will your next barometer/goal post be?...maybe redefining what "full" means?

I'm good. Being as safe as I can. Still working outdoors as a biologist with birds. Definitely makes it easy to keep my distance from strangers. Other than that, I am dating a girl that is way out of my league, who works from home and also is able to minimize her contacts with others. Riding this one out.

Plus, I work with birds. And while we were getting to know eachother, I would send her unsolicited chick pics anytime I worked with newly hatched baby birds. Apparently, unsolicited chick pics are much better than an alternative that some dudes like to send. With that said, she's still out of my league. Haha. I'm a realist.

So this is not a new rule. This is just enforcing an existing regulation. Students with F-1 visa classification (student visa) can only count 3 credits of online classes towards their minimum full time requirement. It has been this way for years. It's a shame an update/exception to this rule isn't being made to accommodate for the pandemic. I have luggage and vehicles of multiple International Students stored at my home for the Summer...I want them to be able to come back..haha.

Just thinking out loud, what is the driving force behind not making an update or exception to the rule? Is it to force International Students out of the country or is it to turn the tables and put the onus on the universities to open up and have in person classes? There is a lot of potential spin with this.
