second day after my first shot Monday eve and no ill effects so far but my shoulder is still sore from the shot...have been sleepier than usual all day.Got my shot finally.
Count your lucky stars. My arm was sore for several days. Absolutely no ill effects other than the sore arm. I was going to ask the nurse to tell me before she gave me the shot but then I felt her putting the bandaid on.Not even sore.

If Oregon has CVS; I found that if you get on the site really earlier in the morning you have a chance to schedule an appointment. Here in Jersey, they had only one CVS with appointment availability back on March 2. I took it. Got Moderna. The second shot is April 1. I wanted the State program but they had openings too late for me and too far away.. Good Luck. I hope you and your wife get those appointments.Well, my wife and I now qualify for Oregon’s vaccine Hunger Games. We set up accounts at the laughably title getvaccinated.Oregon.gov website. Now we wait for the random drawing of our names for a future appointment at the Convention Center. 1,900 appointments this week for a pool of several hundred thousand seniors. There are another 2,500 at PDX for folks with mobility issues. How is it possible that the Portland Metro Area, with almost half of the state’s population, only gets allocated 4,400 doses for the week for first time shots?
Tried playing the pharmacy game. That’s a mess too. Not holding my breath on getting an appointment any time soon.

Not saying it's the best thing I've ever done, but I was checking middle of the and there were ton's of appointments available. As a farther, if I can protect my family and my son's grandparents instead of waiting on the joke of a state government that Oregon is to efficiently roll out a program....I'm going to do it.As someone who is the caregiver (parent) of a medically fragile child I can confirm this to be true.
However, people doing this and lying about what they are is incredibly distasteful.
I actually try to wear a mask all the time I go hiking - it makes it a better workout...
