I don't wear a mask while driving. I wear driving glasses and mask makes them fog. I keep windows up and no other person in car. Put on mask when I arrive at my destination. Always wear mask on morning walk.

And yes, Rand Paul is an idiot.

I hope I can get mine early may but I assume it will be hard to get an appointment
My wife gets hers this Sunday and she's been eligible for over two weeks. Not easy to schedule an appointment in Portland. You've got to keep on trying.

U.S. Won’t Share the Vaccine Patent & Tanzania’s President Dies.

Wonder if we are all being too ambitious to think things will start getting more towards normal. I've been planning the rest of my year, trips, family gatherings (only after everyone is vaccinated), etc.

Nothing crazy until my bachelor party the first weekend of August and then the October wedding.

I still have 2 weeks of vacation time to burn before it expires in October, so trying to figure my shit out for that.

by July everyone who wants a vaccine should have one and things should open up 100%. Until then I think the numbers are gonna spike up again because things are opening up and people don’t give a fuck anymore

Yes.

the only way I'm travelling this year is by myself or with people who have also had both of their shots.

What if they get the Johnson and Johnson one? Do they have to get it twice?

All kidding aside, I'm planning things for late July early August at the earliest and keeping it flexible.

One of the places I want to go to that I may not have to wait for is the Hoh rainforest. Just trying to find the time while starting a new job... which is always the hardest time to plan anything lol.

I expect them to get it three times.

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. – ABC7 is trying to answer a question many are asking one year after coronavirus lockdowns first started — Do they work?

Governor Ron Desantis has said no. Other governors, like California’s Gavin Newsome, have taken a more strict approach. Despite the major differences, the case numbers are similar.

“If you look at the mortality rate per 100,000, it’s essentially a dead heat,” said Dr. Victor Clarr, a professor of economics at Florida Gulf Coast University.

We’re looking at figures in that way (per 100,000) to take population differences into account between Florida and California.

Ah, but is missing is population density in the problem spots - where Florida has a population density of 5707 people per sq/mile in Broward county - while LA county (problem spot) has a population density of 7009 people per sq/mile - but if you actually remove all the national forest portion of LA county which is almost 1/2 of the county size - the population density is actually at over 12,000 per sq/mile
