We’re in a pandemic, and the unvaccinated are largely responsible for prolonging it. I’m against the idea of a government mandate to vaccinate everyone, but I’m perfectly OK with companies and private businesses requiring their employees to get the vaccines. Also as a business owner, I’d think it’s a responsible action to take to not do business with people that show such negligence as to knowingly put others at risk.

TLDR: I’m OK with assholes being assholes. But I’m even more OK with people treating the assholes for being the assholes that they are.

People can drive without a license, but it is not an issue to require it to ensure that they do the minimum to protect others from their driving by passing a basic ability test. The same is true of vaccines. If you do not want to do the bare minimum to protect others from your decisions - no one owes you anything.

Either do that, or pass a law that if someone traces an infection back to you and you are not vaccinated, you face criminal negligence for endangering others.

Time to call the "morally" unvaccinated during a pandemic what they are - a public health hazard - and treat them accordingly. You can not demand to be protected by society and actively endanger it. Hypocrites.

I don't think so. Perhaps that's where the miscommunication is coming from.

It should be as simple for vaccinated people to live a normal life, so that the most people possible are encouraged to become vaccinated. Including financially rewarding vaccinated people. This should be a significant reward to ensure as many vaccinations as possible ASAP.

We should enable everyone to easily identify the unvaccinated so that they can take proper precautions around them.

This should include financially supporting businesses as needed to hire security, screener, and buy bracelets and masks.

None of these are government mandates, just policies to encourage healthy behavior.
