I’m a bit surprised we aren’t already in shutdown.

Do you have to get a booster that’s the same make as your original vaccine? Or could you get say a J&J booster although you had the Pfizer originally?
good. tell ‘em to get vaxxed or stay out. going to a game is a privilege, not a right. if they care more about themselves than public safety, they should stay away.
(other than courtside seats or close by and suites, I prefer to watch at home, anyway.)
lol wut. Facts are opinions now?Everyone is entitled to thier own opinions regarding the vax and effectiveness of it. There is nothing truly concrete and clear.
"Some people won't like it", TOUGH! Get a clue. When i was in school, didn't have my vaccines up to date. Got escorted out. Got vaccinated, back to school. In the Service, they injected us with all kinds of BS. Didn't have a choice. I'm fine. I trust scientist more than conspiracy whackadoos . Don't like it, get vaccinated. Or continue to climb your mountain top waiting for the end to come.
Wait. People who believe in a magical wizard who controls our specific and collective destiny might be ignorant? The hell you say?

i have friends who share this opinion and i just dont get it. Why is it so hard to put it on?Masks required too, which is a dealbreaker for me. Likely not going to attend any games where masks are required, it'll be more fun to just watch on TV tbh.
I'm an asthmatic, wore mask as an Uber Driver. I guaranty i'd be fine wearing a mask for a game. I'm back to wearing mask in the grocery store, and on pick ups because i've seen many dumbasses in store and restaurants, sneezy & coughing without covering up. I'm like, "I don't want your cooties foo". Get a F-ing clue.Masks required too, which is a dealbreaker for me. Maybe assuming we’ve got the universe all figured out is ignorant.
Spare me your facebook learnings-- i have no patience for nonsense any longer. That fact is the "vaccine" doesn't confer immunity or prevent transmission.

i've just gotten used to it, like it's a regular part of life. Its less fun. Just a personal preference kind of thing. I'm not gonna spend a lot of money to go to a game where I have to wear a mask, when I can watch it on TV at home without one on.

I actually QUIT picking up drunks. I stopped working those hours. The fares weren't big enough to put up with the bullshit. And potential Barfs. I just do Uber Eats now. But i do enjoy being at the game, a 100 times more that TV. You just can't match the live experience.Yeah, but if the choice came down to it with wearing one versus not wearing one, in a fan-based activity, not wearing one will be more fun. Just creepy aesthetics as well if everyone in the spot is wearing a mask. I mean I don't mind not attending games. Watching on TV is more chill anyway, lots of effort in going to a game. When I watch games here in LA, I usually uber down to the arena, get wasted and have a good time. With the mask mandates as well as the lack of ubers in general these days, its more of a hassle.
Who is assuming that?

Last year, a person I was in close contact with at work tested positive, had a terrible bout with it, and the PPE both of us were wearing protected me. I was working 6-10 hrs a day in a lab with two masks on and a face shield at the time. I haven't stopped wearing a mask even after vaccinations because it's just not a big deal to me. It's much easier than what I dealt with at work. I don't know why people think it's so hard

People in Asia have worn mask for decades. Bad air had a lot to do with it, but they wore them. The air is so bad with the wild fires, i've had to wear the mask anyways. I consider it like protective work equipment. I also have gotten use to it.i've just gotten used to it, like it's a regular part of life.
Seriously, the smoke here in Central OR is horrible. I never knew it was this bad until I moved here this Spring. Masks are helping in that regard for sure.People in Asia have worn mask for decades. That ain't hard. C'mon.it isn't hard to put it on.
Whats hard is to put it on and off and on and off while eating, drinking and screaming.
Also the Ozone here in Denver has been a problem bigtime. It's like the air before all the EPA regulations for exhaust. Can't even see the city unless it rains. Pretty scary.Seriously, the smoke here in Central OR is horrible. I never knew it was this bad until I moved here this Spring. Masks are helping in that regard for sure.
