There was this cool old lady in the neighborhood I grew up in. Her baby brother won the best baby contest at the Lewis and Clark Exposition in Portland in 1905. Part of the prize was all these toys. He passed away a short time later, can't remember why, so she had these toys that were never played with. She put ribbon on them and hung them on her Christmas tree every year. Coolest fucking ornaments ever! Metal cars, planes, ships. It was then I realized that at least some Christmas ornaments should be like family time capsules. So a covid ornament is kinda cool.

That one is kind of cool. A reminder of the time period, a time capsule like you said. My friend’s parakeet she got last year is named Corona. I do find Pfizer and vax card ornaments to be…a little odd though. The old people look like hostages. If you squint it looks like their hands are tied behind their back.

Our tree is filled with ornaments of places we have traveled together and different moments me and the wife have shared. She found some COVID inspired ornaments last year that we gave out as stocking stuffers that were a big hit.

Libertarians are not anarchist, imo. Anarchist are anti Government period and would love to see the fall of our country.
Libertarians, and I lean that way in some regard, are small government, fiscally conservative, pro capitalism, freedom of choice, and for/support LGBT, Same sex marriage and Pro Choice. Now that's just my opinion and I have voted libertarian a few times over the years.

The politicians who claim to be libertarians are actually conservative Republicans. They oppose minimum wage, anti-discrimination laws, health and safety standards, and also oppose marriage equality and legal abortion. But some support marijuana legalization since they indulge.

I know who they are. Just as there are some radicle progressives that are for open borders, anti police, pro big government with lots of bureaucratic inefficiencies that don’t promote business and competition. Im an independent that would like a balance. Im an old hippie that has seen the negatives of both major parties especially when they lean extreme.

middle grounders like us are being pulled by both sides and are being demanded to join one side or the other.

how about some of the radicals on each side take a step towards the middle instead of trying to force everyone to their extremes???
