Fortunately, HCP, my family and friends all accept science. They masked and social distanced and now are all vaccinated and boostered. And alive.
Love to know there are those out there like this.

Ya we just spent 4 days down in SF and was very impressed with the mask usage and social distancing. Felt very safe.

It was trippy in London. Barely anyone wore masks. On the tube and bus, you were supposed to and it was maybe 80% compliance.

Indoor spots, maybe 10% people wore masks. Outdoors, even in crowded areas, maybe 5%.

Trippy to have employees at stores and restaurants not be masked up.

I live in east bay and everyone is masked.
Every time I go in my local Tigard Costco 100% of everyone in the joint is masked. I wouldn't go anywhere where everyone wasn't masked, must be 100% or we don't shop there.

Truth hurts...
Is Barfo ugly? Let me tell you how ugly. The other day Barfo and I went into a bar to have a drink. The bartender takes one look at us and asks me "What'll it be? Oh, and here's some peanuts for your monkey." He don't get no respect.

Talked to my buddy in Palm Springs yesterday and he said nobody is wearing masks there.

Curious how this has affected/effected your views on this whole situation?
Wife & I both feel variants are just something we will live with for a time per what the scientist are saying. We have been vaccinated w/boosters.
I remember standing in line at Jefferson HS with my mom getting the sugar cube vac's for polio and she was one to go door to door for March of Dimes.

Used to be 3 days for vaccinated, 1 day for unvaccinated. Now no difference.

in NYC the week of Thanksgiving. Got panic attacks seeing the number of maskless people on Broadway by Times Sq. Maybe I'm just not used to it anymore.

It takes a while. I remember when I was on Fremont street in vegas the first time during the pandemic, I was similar.

People will definitely have PTSD from this, especially the more they kept isolated, the harder it will be to adjust to normal.
