OT Coronavirus: America in chaos, News and Updates. One million Americans dead and counting (2 Viewers)

Face it, everyone's gonna get COVID, Omicron, or whatever the next strain ends up being. Once you come to that conclusion, your life becomes easier. Sure don't take cavalier risks, but when you get symptoms that don't seem right, get tested.

I had energy level, headache, and sneezy symptoms right after Christmas and posted in here that fact. I tested negative, yet continued to have those same symptoms following that. I'm convinced I received a false-negative. I was tested at a Vanderbilt clinic, so I'm assuming they correctly test. Got one of those deep cavity ones that sting pretty good.

Anyway, I feel fine now, so whatever.
I'll venture to say my life has probably been much easier than your covid on tour experience...and I still don't have it nor have to get it....that's a fairly boneheaded projection by someone who failed the first safety protocol tests....maybe take some advice from those who've avoided infection from the start and not taken risks that complicate what should have been an easy life. There are countries that have adhered to protocol that have only a few cases but everyone follows the rules. You don't come to those conclusions...they come to you via the air you breath.

This you?

So you trust them except for when they give you a result you don't like?

Lesser of two evils, pally. I tested for the family's sake and spent Christmas alone.. Liberals in the bunch. Then again, I still think they (Vandy) got it wrong.

We're all gettin' it.

Ordered ours this morning....should be here within 7 days according to the website

I read it as they will be shipped in 7-10 days, not arriving on your doorstep in 7-10. If you've mailed anything USPS right now you know that it is taking A LOT longer than usual to get packages. Ordered some stuff off Prime last week, the UPS shipment got to my house today, the USPS box said the 17th-25 but now it's telling me the shipment is 'delayed' ... I'm not stressing on it or anything just highly doubt these tests are getting here in a week.

Could be....I just got the tracking number from them and I'm not sick so there's no rush in my household but I can get tested in a few days in Eugene if I make an appointment ....

If you think Vanderbilt got it wrong that literally means you don't trust them.

Badass ... I'll be happy to be wrong on this one and would hope that anything to help the general public gets fast tracked through USPS ahead of stuff like my BBQ grill lighter, golf club cover and socks!

I don't trust the entire process. Vanderbilt is reliant on the means by which they test, which is probably a whole lot better than that by which home tests were created. It's an imminent front.

Many studies show cloth masks are ineffective. It's nonsense to say they are stopping the spread when every school is popping off.
I have worn a cloth mask since the 3rd week of March 2020….. I haven’t had as much as a sneeze or cough since. The mask is the reason sir, plain and simple. I have HORRIBLE allergies from April -August every year. These past 2 years is the first time in my life not needing to take Zyrtec. The mask is the reason sir, plain and simple.

So question. Fully vaxed. Got covid once. Long hauler, But nothing ever serious.
I can get it again, but can i still spread it?

Cant find much info on if or how much at risk I might be to others if i get it again but don't know it.

Early data says your immune system should respond VERY quickly if you get sick again. Once your immune system starts to fight it the chances of spreading it to others becomes very low.

Much like your posts in this thread, imminent front is nonsense.

Psst...

It's Eminence.

nence

Right. Heh. Don't be a put on. It's unbecoming of you.

Fuck that! Good socks are one of the great pleasures in life!

Bingo!! Thorlos at $15 a pair. Feels like walking foot massage. Good socks are incredibly underrated.

You guys know this is an old man discussion right? It's like sitting in your La-Z-boy making Carter Pewterschmidt old man sounds.
If any of the thousands of girls that read this forum see this thread you're never getting laid.
