Saw them several times in the Bay Area and at The Crystal Ball Room.

Interesting that at my place of employment the message is currently "We have not gotten it approved for teleworking yet", even though I am completely capable to VPN in. HOWEVER, all senior staff is working from home the rest of the week I just found out. What a crock of shit.
I have the same problem at my work. Some managers let their employees work from home and some do not. Even though the employees who are not allowed are actually more capable of doing their jobs remotely.

The thing that is most screwed up is that 2 of the people on my team that are in the office have decreased immune systems already. So irresponsible.

Hey, does the 4-second rule still apply? I just dropped a piece of toast, picked it up, then "almost" ate it!

EXCLUSIVE: Russia blames BRITAIN for the coronavirus outbreak: State media accuses UK of 'smearing something in Wuhan' and links the virus to Salisbury novichok attack
  • EXCLUSIVE Kremlin-backed media has broadcast propaganda blaming UK
  • Outrageous slurs include that the British 'smeared something in Wuhan'
  • Pieces of disinformation were broadcast by Kremlin-funded Sputnik & Russia 1

Is trump capable of leading our country together or will he always attack others (Cuomo right now)

I don't believe anyone is capable of leading the country "together" at this point. We are a divided country (and yeah Trump has made it worse but it was coming long before he got here).

Does anyone else find it suspicious that Russia only has 93 cases? Just saying. I look at the map and there are big red circles all around them on all sides and yet a country as big and as connected to the world as Russia has a grand total of 93 cases?? Hmmmm...

well that’s the spirit....
lol, touche'.

I guess my question to you would be, do you see someone with the ability to bring people together who happens to be on the other side of the fence politically than you are? Cause I personally believe that we all tend to say well the guy on my side could do it, but that is essentially the problem if they represent the other side most people tend to say they absolutely couldn't do it, and if they represent the other side we tend to think they don't even want to bring us together. Tribalism is interesting. - I'm no better than anyone by the way so this isn't judgemental or meant as condescending -

I flat told my boss I'm working remote because it's not vital that I'm in the office. They are "thinking" about staggering the office people half in the building, half remote, week to week. I'm saying nah. I'm gonna go ahead and work remote. There's nothing I can't do at home. It's extremely stupid to be in the office as far as I'm concerned.

I'm glad you're in a position you can do that. I can work from home but I have little kids and I am extremely unproductive when their awake, so I've decided to go into work. The good thing is I am in an office and get very little contact with people at work, the ones who are coming in we've told all our communication is supposed to be through MS Teams, Github, and Email. So kind of social distancing at work. Though all the people who are "under" me, I've told them the option is theirs if they want to work from home or not, but I'd prefer if they can that they stay home.

I disagree as Obama was one that helped bring the country together for the most part. Get rid of trump and cocaine Mitch McConnel and I think we would see a dramatic improvement.

Obama didn't bring anyone together either though (and I found him personally likeable), but look at what the Republicans (heck even the ones on this site) said about him, the constant attacks he was under, the "hate" that the right had for him. I suppose we can agree to disagree, but this country was divided long before Obama or Trump, and the gulf seems to be getting further not closer together, Obama didn't make the gap closer, and (obviously) neither has Trump.

Republicans: We have all the right answers and Dems have ruined this country.

Dems: We have all the right(left)answers and Trump supporters ruined this country.

Average Rational Citizens: Both parties need to shut the fuck up and stop the finger pointing and start focusing on improving the current situations.

Which category do you call in?

I know which one I fall in.

So damn tired of the finger pointing from both sides. If you are a finger pointer you are part of the problem. Not the solution. I hope that sinks in for some of you, though I have my doubts it ever will. (Not you Tortured)

Hey man, I feel your frustration and your passion but I don't think they have it in them to change course. :dunno:
