Why didn’t Inslee do that today? He had a briefing like 30 minutes ago. But I keep hearing Oregon will be shut down too. I live in Vancouver, work in PDX, just went and bought a bunch of groceries in advance of the shelter enforcement (because I know that term will cause panic with the idiots, had to get in front of that), but maybe it won’t be enacted in WA after all?

The shut down is not really a shutdown since we can find excuses to go out and do almost anything. The worst that can happen is that some policeman will advise you to be careful.

Two Dead from Covid-19 coronavirus in Vancouver

It happened in the early part of last week in Peace Health South West Medical Center. They were in their 80s and husband and wife. Imagine the pain suffered by their children.

I, along with a shit load of other people I know, were sick in the weeks/days leading up to the uptick in coronavirus cases. Nasty flu/cold stuff that eventually cleared up with no serious issues. I was kind of thinking today in the back of my mind:

“Damn, I wonder if I could’ve had that shit and didn’t know it?”

Only half serious, but you know how the mind works when you’re out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. I jokingly mentioned it to my mom on the phone today (she lives in Oregon) and she was like:

“Holy shit, a bunch of people here have been saying the same thing!”

Just wondering if anyone has actually heard anything like that? It seems pretty likely the infection could’ve been spreading around for awhile in some areas before making its way to the first elderly/serious cases.

I got REALLY sick with a respiratory cough probably late last year. Just came out of nowhere, hit me like a brick. Like nothing I've had before. Cough felt bad enough to think "holy shit". It cleared up rather quickly though.

That's easy to figure out, find someone with the virus and lick their face. If you get sick, then you didn't have the virus.

I know. Like I said, I was just trying to get ahead of the panic that would ensue when people that DONT know that start hitting the stores

A couple weeks ago I suffered immense pain in church to the point that I almost left early during the middle of the service. It was a dull ache but pretty severe. It made me wonder if I had a brief bout with the virus. Me? I really don't care about me but my wife means more than everything to me and I worry about her a great deal. Dear God, she puts up with a lot from me and comes back for more.
Here is truly one of God's miracles, how do women put up with men?

Keeping the infection numbers low on purpose to not incite mass panic and a meltdown. Riots would happen if people got the real numbers.

Listening to PBS radio this morning, as I've been surfing various news radio shows for information about covid19 and came across this gem..

A couple from the Bible Belt defied warnings and brushed off the virus as a "democratic hoax" died just hours apart from covid19 just mere days after their diagnosis.

How many more Trumptard stories like this will emerge within the next few months?

The distancing thing was explained by doctor Fauci earlier.
