Senate went into Thanksgiving recess without taking up Coronavirus relief.

They did, on party line vote, confirm a 30 something guy with no experience to a lifetime appointment as a federal judge. He was, like many Trump appointees, rated unqualified by American Bar Association.

Not much for Biden to do about this when he takes office tbh.

I'm going to just go ahead and assume this is sarcasm despite the lack of green font.

Let's see....

Multiple effective vaccines have been developed.
Distribution of vaccines for highly at risk individuals will begin in late December.
Logistics for distributing the vaccine are being designed right now with delivery to most of the general population schcduled for April.

All Biden has to do is make sure the distribution logistics don't get fucked up. Actually he'll have a team do that for him. Not sure how much he'll be involved.

I am a “high risk” individual. After all the lies and bullshit from Trump and the Republicans these past 4 years, do you REALLY think intellectually functioning individuals are gonna just leap to be the first in line for these fast tracked vaccines???? Sorry, I’m not going to take your word or that of any government official that these vaccines are “effective” until they have a track record. And in a society that already has a strong anti vaccine culture??? Good on you for being so easily sold. And you can bet that if the vaccines aren’t as effective as promised/serious side effects occur then the blame is all gonna go on Sleepy Joe”........

Well, that's what POTUS's do...they delegate their authority by appointing/surrounding themselves with people with talent and let them do their job...something Trump was either unable and/or unwilling to do.

I like it and all, but man, a lot of Trump fans don't understand sarcasm. Look it when they bought that Trump was being "sarcastic" when he wondered if injecting disinfectants would work.

No, if they wore masks, they would wear those not knowing the difference

Trump administration cuts off emergency Federal Reserve programs as coronavirus cases spike

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is pulling the plug on funding for emergency Federal Reserve programs intended to help businesses as the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage in the United States.

In a letter sent Thursday to Fed Chairman Jerome Powell, Mnuchin asked the central bank to return some $455 billion in unused funding for programs set to expire December 31. He added that Congress would then be able to re-appropriate the money for other purposes.
---
The move was immediately met with backlash from Corporate America: The US Chamber of Commerce blasted the decision as one that closes the door on important liquidity options for businesses at a time when they need them most," adding that it "unnecessarily ties the hands of the incoming administration."
...
"This appears to be a political move by Team Trump to limit what President-Elect Joe Bide can do next year to boost the economy, especially if Congress fails to pass a big stimulus," he wrote in a research note Thursday. He added, though, that there may be a way for the programs to continue.
