You know, even though there's a rapid and developing outbreak of a variant that evades vaccine protection.

 
mRNA shots create the variants, prevent your immune system from operating properly which increases the rate of COVID-19 infection and spread. There is no peer-reviewed study indicative of ANY health benefits being derived from use of mRNA shots whatsoever. Not a single one. No immunity. No lessening of the severity of the infection. No lessening of the spread. No increase in survival rate.

800,000 deaths, just in the US. This is according to expert professional medical personnel, who are resigning in record numbers due to being overworked.

The conspiracy talk is rubbish.

I didn't make any conspiracy claim.

Yes, Covid is real & it's taken ~800k people.... that is unfortunate.
Vaccines are available to anyone who wants them. The vaccines are effective for a few months at a time.

My post was commenting on the hysteria surrounding the Omicron variant. Yes, it is HIGHLY transmissible - but is very mild based on the available data. At this point, it's not something to be overly concerned about.

Except the whole "hospitals at capacity " thing... We should be concerned about any strain of covid-19 until there is ample evidence that we shouldn't.

We don't want to let our guard down only to have people dying in streets if it's as deadly as other strains... And there isn't enough evidence yet to assume it's less dangerous.

Actually, what we know is that it reproduces in the lung tissue slowly compared to the other strains - but until we know how the immune system deals with it - we can not tell if it is less severe. If the immune system can not handle it - all it tells you is that it will kill you slower.

So, less severe is an assumption based on replication in human tissue - but not verified without the other half of the question.

So, if you have a virus that is 70 times more likely to spread between hosts - but only 1/10 of the speed to replicate within the host - you still get much worse death rate.

So, it is a good idea to be careful with this strain until more is known. Simple math, really.
