This coming as an Zero surprise. We talked about it here few times, but people can't connect big dots until they see it on TV.
Saying that, it is really hilarious to see anti... passporters(?) protesting in burger king.
People are soooo divided at this point. I don't have vaccine, but I don't want to be connected to those people.
On the other hand I have no sympathy for people that are giving their freedom like it was worth nothing at all. How can't they see they are more and more in shit is beyond me.

We now have all kinds of pollution on Earth now. We have air pollution, light pollution, noise pollution and we have information pollution that is growing bigger.
At this point, given all things that happened, one can assume whatever he wants and all can be backed by "facts". It just matter of who's the king.
Watching what's happening you can say that maybe vaccines worked and thank god for them but you can say that maybe they actually keeping this virus going.
If you have covid without symptoms you can say vaccine worked or it didn't work. If I am not vaccinated and have gone thru cov lightly, you can say that vaccine wasn't needed or that maybe I would not have nothing at all if I got vacc.
At this point we are in chaos and nothing at all makes sense any more.
We, as a society, one way or another are being fucked badly right now, that's for sure.

Australian man self-immolates after ranting against Covid vaccines

An Australian man was critically injured after he doused himself in gasoline and lit himself on fire in public on New Year’s Day after ranting against vaccines, according to local reports.

The gruesome act of self-immolation occurred just after 8 p.m. local time in the Richmond section of Melbourne when the man poured the gasoline on himself and his vehicle while shouting expletives regarding the state of Victoria’s new COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to the Herald Sun.

Witnesses said police and firefighters tried to douse the burning man with water as he exited the vehicle, still shouting. With the help of five bystanders, officials restrained the man and put him into an ambulance that transported him to the Alfred hospital.

“His skin was burning. He was on fire,” a woman, who did not want to be identified, told the Herald Sun. “His skin is stuck to my shirt. He was just off his face [intoxicated] screaming about the vaccine mandates.”

A spokesperson for the hospital told the paper that the man was in critical but stable condition.

One witness, Lydia O’Connor, was dining at a nearby restaurant when she said she heard the man’s screams.

“He poured gas on himself and on his car. It was on purpose,” she said.

“He was screaming about mandates,” she said. “He was screaming ‘No vax ID,’ and throwing books.”

But nobody has said that. You are free to refuse the vaccine. That may mean you lose access to certain things you want to do, or be fired from your job.

But that's not what you said.

Anybody who has refused the vaccine should be dropped from insurance immediately or have their insurance rates doubled. They should not be allowed in a hospital until they have been vaccinated.

They can go out to covid tents in the parking garage instead.

I mean, people couldn't go to visit their families. Couldn't spend Christmas together. Let alone people dying alone in hospitals, cos you can not visit them.

Of course you couldn't visit your friend for few drinks. It is just like in Persepolis, but it is surely not freedom abuse.

Going out from your home was ok as well, unless they put you on quarantine.

How about freedom of speech. No cases here. They just ban you for missinformation.

You have to show your Kennkarte to visit cinema or restaurant. I don't see the problem here.

In any case, in light of this recent surge, people really shouldn't be partying in bars, inside or out. She represents her district in NY, a place with record COVID-19 infections. She should set the example, stay home and stay masked up, not escape NY to somewhere that is open.
