Exactly, and we lose our immune system immediately if we put on a mask. That's why surgeons haven't worn masks for the last century, they don't want to lose their immune systems. They also don't wash their hands because the patient has an immune system, so that would just be overkill.

There were many studies showing that mask reduce transmission in congregated places, so saying they haven't stopped anything is frankly, nonsense.

I am sure they stopped some, I am also sure that they will not stop everything but to assume that not wearing them is good or that wearing them is not worth it because they do not stop everything is the kind of stuff that makes this pandemic worse.

Many studies show cloth masks are ineffective. It's nonsense to say they are stopping the spread when every school is popping off.

Did you look at numbers further or just take it at surface level and not look at other factors?

Because, well, those tell the story.

The studies show that without masks the schools would fair much worse, which is why your statement is nonsense.

It is also true that n95 and kn95 masks are better than clothes ones, but that idea that things are not completely 100% proof are worthless is nonsense

Almost All Teens in ICU With COVID Were Unvaccinated: Study

445 12-18 year olds were hospitalised for COVID, and nearly all were unvaccinated (only 2 vaccinated). 40% required admission to ICU (2 vaccinated), and 7 died (all unvaccinated).

Period of study: July 1 to Oct 25 2021

Scope of study: 31 hospitals over 23 states

Three quarters of the teens had underlying medical conditions (only obesity was mentioned). So it appears that obesity + unvaccinated is a dangerous combination even for teens.

Note: Article made a reporting mistake . The actual study listed the date as July 1, not June 1.
