I've heard that they are pretty accurate from a nurse who gave me my tests at the VA.
 
Oklahoma doctors pleading with population. They are totally stressed out. Treating patients in hallways and closets because no rooms available. Oklahoma has low rate of vaccination because freedumb. Doctor said 80 to 90% of Covid patients unvaccinated.

Supreme Court justice Sonia Sotomayor has had Type I diabetes since childhood. Diabetes a huge risk factor for Covid deaths. Chief Justice Roberts asked all justices to mask during weekly meetings and deliberations. Neil Gorsuch refuses.

Then, there's the aforementioned mom on the Mike Rowe Show, who ardently followed all you had prescribed, yet still tested positive. Or so they say.

I'm not saying don't take reasonable precautions, I'm simply saying we're all (or mostly all) are gonna eventually get it. That's my opinion, and I'm entitled to that. And you're entitled to yours. We live over 3,000 miles away from each other. It's gonna be OK.

In America you're probably right. There are countries who handled this well who will likely not have the same problem.

Most in those countries will likely not get it until it has evolved back into a common cold and vaccines are no longer necessary.

Pretty sure it was either Inn at the Seventh Mountain or Mount Bachelor Village, if that rings a bell. This friend drove an old Chevy LUV with a trailer on the back through high school. That should narrow it down LOL

My comment has absolutely nothing to do with hysteria and everything to do with basic common sense. I have made my position on the unvaccinated extremely clear in the past and made it equally clear that I was entirely unapologetic or unashamed of my opinion. Nor was I willing to debate it’s merits (or lack thereof). Fuck those selfish assholes who care don’t care about anyone but themselves. I believe strongly that we would be far beyond our current fucked up situation if the majority of Americans had had the maturity to deal with this disease as we dealt with previous diseases, i.e.; through the use of vaccinations. Sorry if my take on my fellow sorry ass Americans offends your sensibilities. But fuck anyone who is unvaccinated. Fuck ‘em all, big and small. If they come down with Covid they should be turned away from hospitals and sent home to deal with it however it goes. It’s called “accountability”. Their selfishness is preventing those who actually need the hospital to be turned away. True story, so spin away to keep the narrative going. Otherwise, I tend to agree with you that the tests are a political and media driven agenda……..

Sorry. Covid burnout. I am just so tired of America being the Land Of The Stupid for half the population. The antivaxxers thump their chests and proclaim their freedom, then whine, cry and beg for help when their stupidity bites them in the ass. Cull the herd and maybe we actually CAN actually make America “great” again……with freedom comes accountability…..or in some cases, illness and death. I sincerely admire you for your compassion for and service to others, and God bless you for it. But I personally just got tired of pissing into the wind………

Data from every country with higher vaccination rates than us strongly suggests otherwise. Your strong belief may be in good intention, but it isn’t backed by anything scientific or data-driven. Israelis are already pondering their 5th shot now after admitting the SECOND booster is virtually ineffective against omicron. Still spreading like crazy. At some point you have to weigh poking yourself full of holes against your natural ability to fight off covid based on age, health, etc. If you’re at risk, poke away. Most older folks I know are vaccinated because they are higher risk. Imagine that. We can’t keep pretending this vaccine is akin to a polio or smallpox vaccine that is capable of eliminating a disease. It’s not, everyone on the planet could get vaccinated today and this disease WOULD NOT GO AWAY. Every highly vaccinated country has proven this. This is endemic, not pandemic.
