I'm assuming here, but I don't think Sunday Ticket has anything to do with it. Direct won't carry the Pac-12 network either...maybe their logic is the same. I don't know. We don't get much filtered down info to us.
DIRECT TV DOESN'T WANT TO PAY COMCAST 5 DOLLARS PER SUBSCRIBER FOR CSN, SON.
And I say the reason why it is 5 dollars per subscriber is due to the strong hold Directv has had on the ticket and cables continued unsuccess attempts in acquiring it. There just playing hard ball. Just like the other two companies. They have no desire to share CSN just as the other two have desire share the ticket.
How about we talk about why Comcast sucks?
in all fairness to everyone in here hating on comcast, comcast is the most hated corporation in the country, rating worse than literally monsanto
id post a link but i dont want to get in trouble
KevinCSN is a gentleman and I for one welcome his presence on this board.
You the man, Kev!
Maybe Kevin is just involved in content, not corporate policies, but he should go back and tell corporate that they have totally alienated Portland fans and that if they actually want to change to a customer-friendly culture, they might get some interest from the board in supporting this initiative.
When they signed the contract with the Trailblazers, they assure everyone that they have a history of working with DirectTV and Dish and others and would do so to share the otherwise "exclusive" Blazer games.
* They have never done that.
* I live just an hour outside Portland and Comcast is not available where I live even if I wanted to switch from DirectTV.
* Nevertheless, League Pass blacks out Blazer games to me, because of my proximity to Portland, even though I cannot get Comcast.
I have been screwed. I cannot watch most Blazer games even if I was willing to pay for them.
I didn't even know what Lillard looked like for most of his first season!
Fuck Comcast. Pass it upstairs.
I have a feeling the decisions by Comcast to monopolize the Blazers fan base is a little above Kevin's pay grade.
I have Comcast now, just recently because its the only option where I live. Aside from the Blazer games, it sucks. Way overpriced for the garbage.
I agree.
and Blazers cable was worse. Wasn't it like 30 bucks PER GAME? haha

Zags, you and I would dominate an episode of Talkin Ball. I would bring the real knowledge and you could talk about your Top 10 whites guys who are 6'9 or taller!
Sent from my Baller-Ass 5.5" iPhone 6+......... FAMS
Haha yea. My aunt and uncle who used to live just down the street from me when I was younger had Blazer Cable. They also had a black box that got them satellite channels for free. I spent all my down time at their house.
had that huge old school moving satellite dish, the camera feed had no commercials, just dudes picking their noses.
