You said they own both picks. They own one that has protections.yes, that's what it means. And that's exactly what I've been saying, repeatedly. OKC gets the pick no matter what; Miami sure as shit doesn't. And the Stepian rule prevents them from trading their 2027 pick although they could trade a swap....except Portland doesn't own their 2027 first
Protections that can be renegotiated and you yourself used to post about Portland renegotiating with Chicagos hold on one of our picks.
It is not unfathomable that OKC could lift protections for merely a 2nd thrown their way.
