Yes it was as it's a simple as fighting fire with fire. He continues to come at me no matter what I post and I have ignored the majority of his crap lately but he continues to butt his way in and make his snarky little remarks at me and that post was a simple call out of just one of his many digs he likes to put in. He likes to play the victim where in reality he is often the instigator. If he doesn't want douchey responses then he needs to stop his douchey attacks. Pretty simple in my book. What's pretty sad is the guy is in his early 20's and has over 20,000 posts in 3 years.

In fairness to Cup, I thought he made it pretty clear we weren't supposed to post opinions. Just facts.

An opinion is someone giving their viewpoint on a topic or scenario. A Rumor is someone else taking that and spreading the word as possible truth. Two VERY different things. You are advocating that no one should offer their opinion for fear that someone else turns it into a rumor????

I said I could see CJ saying he would be OPEN to that if he was told the team was looking at making moves, and I could see it possible that Dame and CJ have had such a conversation.

So your bitching about rumor starting has now been broken down into just that. You started a rumor or are trying to start one that I said CJ wants out. I NEVER SAID THAT...STOP STARTING RUMORS.....

Actually, that's incorrect as go back and see where he butts in on a response that wasn't even to him. It also wasn't just this thread as he has been consistently doing it and not only just to me.

A player to build around doesn't mean he is the best player on the team per say. If we were to get LBJ on this team, he would be the best player, but it would still be Dames team and built around Dame.

Again, Clownzana is out of my equation. I just think it might be possible that the two have discussed CJ's role and what he could do on another team and I could see Dame wanting the best for CJ. CJ is VERY smart. This is why I don't think he would mind leaving to another team to be the number one scorer to build around ( again number one scorer doesn't always mean best overall player, see Lu Williams, or Paul Pierce in Boston, etc.) He knows he will never reach his optimum potential being the second guy behind Dame.

Also, plausible doesn't mean probably. I definitely think its possible that Dame and CJ had that discussion and it might be possible that CJ said, yeah man, if you get what you want form me and can get me to a team that wants to build around me, id be for it.

I realize that is a possibility. If I were Dame I'd be interested in knowing what Paul Allen had to say about it, and where he stands building the team. What his expectations are...

I speak to the owner of the company I work for about his vision for the company and his expectations fairly regularly.

If Dame is serious about winning he's going to want to make sure the owner is as well.

I just think there's no questions that Paul Allen is serious about winning if he's willing to shell out 8-digits a year for role players.

And I have no problem with Dame wanting to have that conversation with Paul Allen. That seems very reasonable to me.

Wanting to win and knowing what it takes to win aren't the same thing. Communication is required to get everybody on the same page. Having Paul Allen, Olshey, Stotts, and Dame on the same page is critical for our success.

This is a good thing.
