as is the vast majority here, fire the arseholeDame is tired of Neil
ok you’re correct. Did not think about that lolOr Olshey is gone?
This is the kicker, and it's such a kick in the nuts. How can you explore CJ trades without knowing whether Powell is back? But at the same time, why would Powell commit unless he knew he had the starting SG position? Such a delicate situation and not one I'm confident Olshey can navigate.like I said, the first giant test is re-signing Powell. If Olshey fails at that the off-season starts out in a deep ditch that climbing out of may be next to impossible
but if Powell is re-signed then Olshey can turn to CJ trades as well as the MLE signing and perhaps dealing Jones, assuming he opts-in, and other players
Olshey can't just re-sign Powell and call it a summer....he has to do something major after that. I have no faith that he will though. This situation was completely avoidable if Olshey would have just done his job 4 or 5 years ago. I still can't believe that oily fuck is still the GM
It's more hopeful thinking rather than right or wrong. I would hope the team would dispense of the GM before Damian Lillard at this point.ok you’re correct. Did not think about that lol
You have to trust in your ability to get Powell back to be the starting SG and trade CJ during the draft when the biggest deals happen. It's a much smaller risk than thinking you can hold onto CJ until you have Powell signed and then deal CJ when the big deals have already been done during the draft. Logistically it is a bit of a nightmare but if CJ isn't traded by the end of the draft, I think we'll see Powell leave in free agency and then Dame will request a trade. This is the kicker, and it's such a kick in the nuts. I love the thought but I fear that if Olshey doesn't get it done and Jody and the Vulcan's tell Dame they'll get someone else to do it, Dame will tell them it's too late. Today it seemed like Dame was saying that he has been showing urgency his whole career and the team never caught on so now he's giving them one last chance... that's just what I got out of it.It's more hopeful thinking rather than right or wrong. I would hope the team would dispense of the GM before Damian Lillard at this point.

The key word seems to be urgency... so Olshey can't play his usual conservative games.
well, my recollection is that almost all trades around the draft involve current draft picks and Portland has none. I don't remember many 3-team trades around draft day. Without a draft pick, Portland would not even be bringing a knife to a gunfight, they'd be bringing a harmonica (although that worked for Charles Bronson)
His post is a troll, but not a good one. You're a troll but not a good one.

Future picks can be used and the fact is that it's when all of the GMs are talking, there have been plenty of deals on draft night that didn't include picks in the past. Also, for me the team that probably has the most value on CJ is the Knicks and if we were to use them in the three team deal, that deal would most definitely involve picks.well, my recollection is that almost all trades around the draft involve current draft picks and Portland has none. Porn Stasche sucks. He enjoys trolling us. Must not have anything better to do.You're a troll but not a good one.
Again another obvious reason you have quite so many posts.
The Lillard rumor is not true. Now go chase another rumor and qualify it with LaMarcus Aldridge all you want but don't include me thanks.
By the way any correlation between the two situations is clearly a stretch.
LOL
Fuck this post
Ok there it is … tons of fake accounts lol
"Where there's smoke..." -- There's an arsonist?

That would be an absolute joke of a trade. No way we make it.
Actually if you read my post i do think he did and i think it was fairly well known he was leaving. Kim Hughes pretty much said that very thing.I have a lot of posts because I have literally been posting here since 2008. It has been 13 years.
I didn't say anything about the Dame rumor. But if you don't think that LMA asked to be traded, or at least gave indications that he wouldn't be coming back, well, that's up to you.
Why would you think that? To me, this is precisely the type of thing he's good at.This is the kicker, and it's such a kick in the nuts.
