All we're trying to do is promote somewhat healthy conversation and debate. Arguments are great, forums would be pretty damn boring without it them. It's when it turns personal that it becomes no fun for anyone. Arguing over what someone posts invites others to join in. Post after post of 2 guys calling each other names is boring. We want you to attack and challenge what people post.

Don't let HCP get under your skin. He thinks it's job to give new members a bad time.

As far as personal insults go, that only applies to members (and their families.) It's perfectly fine to call Kobe a rapist. Now if by some weird chance that Kobe suddenly joined the forum we couldn't call him a rapist anymore.

Also, this is a forum but it is also a community. We do have get-togethers, in the past we've met GMs, coaches, practice facility tours, last year we met Schonz and Rice, and watched a game in suite, we have a yearly meet and greet with Wheels. Even if you're not interested in attending anything like that, it's a big reason why we try to keep the personal arguments out of here.

Everyone at one time or another breaks the personal insult rule. It happens, it's not a big deal. I usually just edit or delete the insult out of the post and not say anything to anyone.

Well here is the deal @BonesJones, if you were to read the posts from HCP you would see that me calling him those things was in complete response to his posts saying things such as tapping my sister. Dude hasn't pissed me off in the least as you state, but at the same time I don't really back down to that type of crap.

IF I recall, there wasn't much talk on here one way or another overall until they came on here first and asked for some game play. Is that not accurate? Honestly, the most surprising thing to me was that a public figure like him would even respond to a comment from a completely inconsequential nobody that wasn't even directed to or about him in the first place, and let alone so vehemently defend his response over the course of several minutes, as though anything I said mattered to anybody.
