Davis and Crawford hurt; Q being shopped?

I think the Knicks should keep Q, and trade away JC and Marbury for someone real good that could help them. Like a Blockbuster trade for Artest or something, just something thats possible so they can get winning again. Q hasnt had his fair chance in NY, he's been injured pretty much all season isnt getting the playing time he got in PHX so of course his numbers are going to be lower, and plus his brother died so he's like traumatized and he cant perform.

Quentin Richardson was wack before his brother died. Why would we trade Crawford and keep him?

JC is good, but he's not a defense first player like most of the other Knicks, and he's more tradeable at this point because of Q's off year so he would be shipped and we would get more in return than we could if we shipped Q.

While I agree that Q has had an off year with all the drama that has been going on in his life I would not want the Knocks brass to sit and wait till he rises up out of his slump. Trade him and trade him now. JC is doing good coming off the bench and I don;t think we need to give up the 6th man like that.
Knicks have had an ugly history of waiting till it's too late to off load players who didn't get it going early. Remember your history...

I think everyone knows Q is a good player in the league, he just had some real issues this season. He was injured throughout training camp and through various times during the season. Also, he's had off court issues with his brother dying and him breaking up with Brandy. But, I still don't know if New York is the right place for him. Q is a kind of shooter that needs to find his rhythem within the game; not just the first 10 minutes and then get re-inserted when he's cold. I don't know if Brown is patient enough to put with that. If we can get someone like Earl Watson, a pass first, defensive minded point guard, I would pull the trigger on the deal.

Crawford needs to stay here in my mind. He's developing well under Brown and his field goal percentage from the field and from three-point range has improved plenty under Brown. Once he becomes a consistent scorer, I think he'll pose a problem to many defenses.
