I think the ratio of insane people to sane people in this march is exponentially smaller than that of many of the borderline riotous crowds protesting against Bush and/or the war...
I know you like to poke fun at anyone who believes in God and thinks everyone who opposes Obama is a racist, but the idea of less and more responsible taxation, to me, is a very valid point. As someone who worked for a few years in social services I was awe-struck by all the billions that is fully wasted in social services. You could not possibly comprehend how much unless you were directly involved.
That said, where does this grassroots group belong? The right is moving to the center and the left certainly disavows them.
Oh, I hope you made it to the bathroom in time!

but you don't find it all interesting that all the people who praised the protests of the left are now admonishing the protests of the right? It's interesting that the same TV channel that was admonishing the protests of the left, is praising the protests of the right. And the protests are using the same tactics both times (a ton of ignorance, scaring people, Hitler references, confusion on what exactly is the difference (if in their eyes, there is one) between Socialism, Nazism and Fascism. They condemned the protests of Bush for labeling him as a Nazi or a "Terrorist" or a war criminal, but basically are saying "way to go!" to the right for doing the same thing to Obama.
that's interesting to you? why? you're surprised that some unknown guy "preaching" in the street at this protest isn't going to get talked about as much as jeremiah wright who was the minister of a huge church in chicago and had been the president's pastor for 20 years?I find it interesting that the "preacher" who said 9/11 was a warning will never get the wide-spread vitriol that Jeremiah Wright got (granted, Wright is a loon), for basically saying the same thing.

i see. if you're against it, it's evil and wrong. but if you're for it, the only way someone could disagree is if they were dumb and racist. awesome. The left usually protests things which are obviously evil and wrong, like murder for profit by our government in Iraq, or graft in our government.
These teabag people are simple-minded racists, angry that their President is black, and can't even make up a plausible excuse for showing up when told to and parroting outrageous slogans as instructed by Fox TV/Rupert Murdoch.

that has nothing to do with my post.Yes, racism is evil and wrong.
Yes, if you're for it you're stupid and racist.
Amazing that you are having trouble grasping such simple concepts.

you said it was interesting that the "preacher" would never get the wide spread vitriol that wright got. maybe if this "preacher" and wright were in similar positions you would have a point.Basically, one guy said that we deserved it and the other guy said we deserved it. Not sure how long they had been saying it matters.
I'd still considering saying that our government stuck it's nose into several other countries businesses, and it was coming back to bite us in the ass (which, despite the fact he said to so soon after 9/11, was and is true), is probably based more in truth then this having to do with Abortions and god being pissed.
The United States provides the most help for the needy around the world.
If our debt become so large we are no longer solvent, we can't continue.
If you support more debt, you are stupid, racist, and greedy.
Amazing that you are having trouble grasping such simple concepts.
you're almost as bad as maris.Actually, I'd say that those who were "praising" the left protesters, didn't actually praise them much. Other then just pointing out that they were protesting.
So, when Fox was calling them loons, unAmerican, and cut and runners, that's just a way of praising them.
you're almost as bad as maris.
obviously fox was not praising the protests of the left. you pointed out how it was interesting that fox would admonish the protests of the left but praise the protests of the right. i simply asked why you don't find it interesting that things happened the other way around as well(with people praising the protests of the left but admonishing those of the right).
I thought the point of the 9/12 supposedly, is to work together and promote progress like after 9/11? Shouting about the president being various negative things, doesn't sound like "working together". Or do i have the wrong premise of 9/12?
