Defense and losing Phoenix key for Playoffs

The Only way the Blazers make the Playoffs is if they start playing defense and Phoenix keeps on losing...IMO:pimp:
 
The only way we don't make the playoffs, IMO, is if the Suns win pretty much all of their remaining games.

not really. there's nothing particularly favorable about our remaining schedule compared to any relevant team except utah. phoenix certainly has an easier schedule left than we do.

I'm not comparing our schedule to any other team's schedule, I'm just saying that we should be big favorites in enough games to not need Phoenix to lose very many for us to clinch a playoff spot.
 
Isnt our magic number down to 15, I am feeling very confident that we are in.
 
If the Suns keep losing OR if we play good defense, we're in the playoffs.

There are a lot of other things that can happen or not happen, too, that will allow us to get in.

Unless Portland really starts to struggle (at .400 or so to go) I think we're in, and it's just a question of how high of a seed can we get.

We don't even have to start playing defense if Phoenix just keeps losing! :devilwink:
