I remember seeing this piece when it first aired and just being floored at the audacity of the propaganda. They don’t even try to be clever anymore. Rachel Maddow is a WWE level entertainer, It’s crazy people watch her show as if it was a legitimate news source. It’s hard to believe it could get much worse than Fox News.

Uhm... except that Maddow didn't spend weeks arguing for going to war over it. That was literally one show, on one day, discussing a potential threat.

The message as far as I can tell was "maybe we should pay more attention to securing our power grid".

She blathered on about Russia for three years straight, only the failure of a Mueller report could shut her up (for a moment). She doesn’t give a shit about the power grid. Let’s not pretend MSNBC produces insightful pieces about the current state of our nation’s infrastructure, that would be real news.

You may not have noticed it, but Russia has been a major news story, or stories rather, this past 3 years. Her job is related to news.
