Yeah, but we won a number of games in which we trailed big time last year. A few bad bounces here and there, and this easily could have been a 47 win team instead of a 54 win team. And I think the fact that we got smoked in round 1 when we had home court and were playing a team missing its best player, pretty much shows that, although they finished 4th, this was probably abut the 6th or 7th best team in the west.
So I agree with Mediocre Man: we have 3 glaring needs (PG, SF, and backup PF) and have not done anything to address them this off-season, in spite of having plenty of $$ to do so. To me, the PG situation is by far the most glaring. I'm OK with Batum/Webster and a Ronny Turiaf would have sufficed at the backup PF spot. But with all this money and we don't land a Kidd/Sessions/Nash/Bibby/Miller... that's just terrible if that's how it ends up.
