Rasta's heroes are all saying this was a good move. CNN is raving about how bold and good a move it is. Rasta's boys McCain and Graham applaud it.

Our allies are all for it. China, Iran, and Russia (and obviously Syria) are the only countries not saying it was the right and proportionate response by Trump.

My preference would be we try to win any war we take part in, as quickly and decisively as possible. But stay out of conflicts in the first place, especially those that are none of our business.

But we aren't s
And CNN is complaining we didn't take out Assad's entire air force.

Well, they didn't change NOTHING. Now Russia claims to be pissed at us and won't cooperate on ensuring safety for our planes.

I hate this sorry ass debate tactic. It's weak and typical of Conservatives.

What did you say then about Obama @Denny Crane?
That we shouldn't be starting wars in more countries. Trump inherited a hot war in Syria - thanks Obama/Clinton.

It's election year in Russia and Putin has only killed off a couple of opponents so far....there is a large contingency of people in Russia that are pissed at Putin but he is used to strong arming them. Trump is just out of his element....Putin loves this shit...he just invaded the Crimea and Ukraine so Syria is not his to bitch about.

60 missiles don't take out their entire military. 6000+ sorties didn't take out the smaller ISIS.
He said their air force, not entire military and if they were used correctly they could effectively cripple the Syrian air force with 60 successful targets. Not now..element of surprise is long gone.

Video is worth watching for anyone who hasn't seen it. Gives a good overview on how the Civil war in Syria became the mess it is today.

A Saudi official gushed about "the courageous decision by Penisdent Trump."

Saudi Arabia is a supporter of the rebels fighting to overthrow Assad. you know, ISIS.

SUPERFRIENDS!

Now that we have seen the damage with the runway intact and pre warning you could say it was an expensive slap on the wrist. When Trump announced the intention you could tell he was making it up as he was going along. The "beautiful babies" phrase just does not fit his persona. I really think the North Koreans will get a smack down when the Chinese Presidents visits as a show of the Big Hood on the block.

Not confirmed, but hints aprox. 20 Syrian planes destroyed, along with several hangers and fueling facilities.

60 ain't taking out their air force. If you believe the putinbots, 60 against one airport didn't do enough.

Russian TV reporting 9 Syrian planes destroyed. At least 7 people killed, and of course some where children.

Oh, and happy national beer day.

The Kremlin (and rasta's pals) claim only 23 of 59 cruise missiles reached the air base, destroying six Syrian jets but leaving the runway intact. Moscow also confirmed it had been informed of the attack in advance. A US-led coalition has been bombing Islamic State targets in Syria since 2014, while Russia's air force has been striking both extremist groups and Syrian rebels in order to aid Assad's forces.

Seems like a giant PR move to me, and all media seems to be buying into it.
Cool.

UK, Germany, Japan, Saudi Arabia, France, Jordan, Israel, Turkey on our side.

Iran, Russia, China (maybe), Assad oppose.

Yet, this strange twitterverse is parroting the Putin line and it's being posted here.
Sure they are....you left out N Korea though...I guarantee you Assad opposes! Donald has taken Hillary's advice...that'll turn out well...what you meant to say is that those country's leaders are on our side....not necessarily all their people though...Israel just carried out a mission against Syria recently...I'm sure they're thrilled.....I know nothing about twitterverse but I've never trusted Putin...ever....he's a snake

you take out the runways and the towers and they're dead like the oceans....just can't miss and have to choose correctly but they rarely do...China claims they can kill Taiwan's power grid with one missile

We did take out the runways at the one air field and rasta is gleefully posting that our military somehow failed to do its job and that the Syrians are still using the air field. Kind of parroting RT, which says more than half the 60 missed their target.

I believe both our military is extremely capable of executing a targeted mission (as well as any other military mission), and that their munitions are so precise that every one hit its specified target. They chose to use ~60 missiles for one air field.

No way they'd use 60 to take out every airfield. 60 PER airfield, maybe. It's not clear the intent was to entirely destroy the air field in the first place, just render it unusable until it's repaired.
