Wow, great list.

I disagree with Faton though. He has performed ok for a mid lottery guy......Just not for us

Dude was taken 5th overall. He hasn't played up to that pick. UNC has actually had a lot of busts, but that's because they put out a lot of talent.

MM...... what school would you say is a can't miss when it comes to players coming out of? I know each college has players that fail, but which school has the best pedigree?

From last year:
Here’s our top 10 colleges to produce NBA pros.

The top five:

1. UCLA
2. Duke University
3. University of Kentucky
4. University of North Carolina
5. University of Connecticut

UNLV and Houston had a few good years, but then fell off the map.

I just meant quality players though.

You know, I think UNC is probably closest.

I think recently Ty Lawson & Tyler Hansbrough have played better than their draft spots. So did Vince Carter (who was taken after scrubs like the Kandi man and LaFrentz).

Raps are supposedly interested in him if Lamb isn't still on the board at 8 (or lower if someone 9+ moves up).

Ford has Waiters going to us if we get 7. Not needs based, which I assume will be adjusted as it then has us taking Lamb at 11. I can't see a Waiters and Lamb draft happening.

I pulled the #3 pick and he had us drafting Beal and Waiters. It's obviously just based on BPA.

You know, I think UNC is probably closest. Their guys usually play to where they are drafted. It could be that none of them were ever drafted too high though? I am not putting a lot of thought into it, but I can't think of any misses off the top of my head

marvin williams, ray felton, brendan wright off the top of MY head

dont draft unc guys! they sometimes bust! :MARIS61:

So the real question here is if Waiters shows all the signs of being a successful NBA player, do you not draft him because of where he went to college? Unless something changes, I fully expect to see Waiters in a Blazers uniform!

so a career below 15 PER player at #5 is ok? well then....what are you trying to say again? that because flynn and wes johnson arent all stars, to never draft a cuse player ever again?

seems logical

That's exactly what he's trying to say. If you would take the time to visit Madame Ezmeralda at Pioneer Courthouse Square, she would tell you that you don't break a curse by drafting an Orangeman. You have to draft from Weber State if you hope to break The Curse of Oden.

orangeman is a racist term, and it is degrading to native americans

i hear there is a special rape prevention mace that dyes your skin orange and takes forever to wash off, even after you scrub for 3 days and soak in bleach at your moms house

maybe thats why they always suck in the nba

You sure? b\c Chad Ford mentioned tonight that POR has been high on Jeremy Lamb all year and another report I heard stated that POR really liked Henson....

I'm not sure, but I'm more sure than Chad Ford and the odds of me being fed information as a smoke screen is far less likely. We'll never know anything for sure until draft night.

Chad Ford is extremely high on Waiters saying that after workouts he's pretty much a lock to go in the top-10.

Waiters at #6?

**For the record: I think this is way too high for him.
