Disheartened after the 1-4 road trip. How to stay positive?

we also beat a fully healthy team in GSW with Curry, Dray and Butler and also beat a fully healthy Denver team with Joker and crew.

Nice way to put a negative spin just like everything you post.

You guys are so fickle in here lol. Get way too high when we were winning early and now too low when we had some bad games.

It's good to be in the middle and not get too high or too low,, it's a nice place to be you guys should try it sometime.
can you just step back a bit and drag your ass away from attack mode 100% of the fucking time? I almost never see you make a post without some kind aggression and antagonism directed toward other posters

again, some people were saying the reason for the recent losses were Portland injuries. That may be valid, to a degree; I was just pointing out that other teams are overcoming injuries and other factors may be at play

*Thybulle has played 4 games; Blazers are 2-2 with him but the last win he played less than 5 minutes
* Blazers are 4-2 with Wesley; IMO he's a bigger loss than Thybulle, because he and Jrue are the main point-of-attack defenders and was the backup PG. Obviously Camara is also a main point-of-attack defender but he seems to be off his game a bit so far. Portland has had bad luck at PG for sure

so far, out of the 7 Blazer players that play more than 20 minutes/game, there have only been 2 missed games: one by Jrue and one by Murray. So, in terms of missed games by starters:

OKC 25 missed games
Lakers 23
Spurs 9
Suns 9
Warriors 7
Denver 5
Minny 4 (all by Edwards)
Houston 3
Blazers 1

Wesley and Thybulle have missed 16 games combined, but Wesley was averaging 16 minutes and Thybulle averaging 12. Timelord is averaging 12.5. Obviously there's the Scoot factor, but again, Lebron hasn't played for the Lakers; Jalen Williams hasn't played for the Thunder. Scoot won't be a starter

after Portland's good start when their defense was intense and their transition offense was clicking, some of us mentioned that other teams were going to scout what Portland was doing and adjust their game plans. I think that's happened. A 5 game road trip to the eastern time zones is also a different situation than Portland's 1st eight games.

lol I just countered what you said in that we also beat two solid teams that was fully healthy and def playoff teams in the west.

Also why aren’t you mentioning Scoot missing games at all? Wesley might not even get playing time when Scoot is healthy as well.

Your mistake was being optimistic to begin with. Not sure why someone would be going into this season. Would be nice to have a rookie contributor to be excited about at least.

Focusing on Tou for a moment, I am wondering how much of an effect the Chauncey situation is having on him? Tou seemed to be his guy last year.
Any thoughts on that?

I talked about Scoot and his injury

that doesn't seem very credible. I guess maybe?

he was better on both ends of the court last season, but maybe the new systems on offense and defense have him out of sync. He's definitely in a shooting slump; maybe the rest of his game will improve if/when he starts shooting better

I dont know. It seems he got most of Chaunceys praise last year and if it was CB helping Tou to be an elite lock down point of attack defender, maybe he is missing CB’s guidance? Im more concerned about his D than O.

If they win tonight I will feel better. All sports fans are bipolar about their team.
