Future speaker of the house Rep. John Boehner cried twice in his interview on 60 minutes. I though the conservatives would be all over this guy. I guess they're cool with it.

I can't take him seriously. It made him look foolish.

Do you think it makes him look genuine and compassionate or overly sentimental and weak? or something else?

2 situations where its ok: When you lose a loved one or your sport team gets eliminated in the playoffs.

Also, if you have to shoot your dog who contracted rabies or your best friend bitten by a zombie

Or if you lose 3-2 to Tottenham at Emirates while being 2-0 up in the first half.

Or if you lose a vital game which allows United to leap frog you in points while they still have a game in-hand.

Or losing 2-0 to Chelsea but then again, I can't expect anything else, can I?

Or watching a team that has no sort of drive to win any piece of silverware.

I cried when my daughter was born. Tears of joy type of thing.. and I tried my best to fight it off... but failed.

Or listening to a manager who makes up endless excuses which deflects the blame from the team.

Or have to read someone padding his post count on this thread- whoever that may be.

Also, do you think I need to pad my post count? Almost 18,000... I mean... Really...

Tears of joy are a different story.

Did you pump your fist while tears poured down your cheeks? That's the best way to pull it off

What about crying when you fracture your arm/leg?

Only if the injury prevents you from saving a life or winning a game.

A single tear is acceptable after receiving a good kick in the groin.

The only true rule of thumb I'm aware of is there's no crying in football. I suppose that means soccer, as well.
