Phew!

Okay, now use the cap space to take on the ridiculous salary of Joe Johnson in return for an unprotected pick or two. Brooklyn is in repeat offender territory and that would be saving them untold millions, so it's got to be worth a few picks.

Not seeing how Olshey can know exactly when Presti will make a decision, or how it's his responsibility to educate us about the fine points of the rulebook.

Phooey. All he had to do was say "OKC has until X o'clock on Sunday to match." What's the big deal?

Sounds ok but not sure Brooklyn has any picks left to trade?

Brooklyn wants to keep Joe Johnson now that Deron is Deron is gone.

No to joe Johnson. Go get kj or find someone else to trade for.

It's not Joe Johnson. He's just the price of the picks. You can waive him afterwards.

Remember, we don't want to get too good - we're tanking.

So tie up our money for a year, giving us no flexibility, and adding no help for the future? It's not like the Nets will give us another unprotected pick after the Lillard fiasco. That would be a horrible idea IMO.

But I doubt the owner wants to pay the equivalent of about $50M for the pleasure.

This may have been addressed already, but by what date do they have to have the cap room or salaries under control? I mean don't they basically have until the end of the upcoming season to be under the cap threshold before it comes into play?

I am surprised and VERY relieved.

I will admit I was dead wrong. I didn't think Presti was this dumb! :chestbump::cheers::party::owned:

I knew all along what would happen. I am better than all you fools.

Aldridge is still citing Prestis quotes from Thursday.

The vote is 46-20 . You were hardly alone.

But I thought so harder than anyone else. So hard that I never posted it.

That makes me more right than anyone else in the world.

Meh.

Welcome the the forum. I wanted him too, but I'm ok with OKC having to ditch some of their other talent now, and forcing tough choices for the, in the future too.
Maxing Kanter will only give them problems this season. They could max Durant and they won't be over luxury tax

This guy Olshey is secretive. Woj just tweeted that next draft, Olshey has 13 second-round picks, after all Western teams are sending us compensation for making OKC let Durant go.

I believe Woj. Lol

My gut still tells me they match although I really want Kanter.
