I just remembered that the world ended in 2012 according to the Mayan calendar.

To 1:30 pm PT, we need to add transmission time between OKC and the league office. Also add reaction time in the league office. Also add transmission time from Woj's secret source in the league office to Woj. Add payoff time from Woj to the bank account of Woj's secret source in the league office. Add latency time due to the slowness of all computers involved, including ours when we receive the Woj tweet. I calculate we'll hear the news on April 17, 2017 at 2:53 am PT.

I'm hearing people say they have until tonight. For fucks sake media, do your job. Theres no clarification.

Here's what the CBA has to say about time periods:

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the specification of any time period in this Agreement shall include any non-business days within such period, except that any deadline falling on a Saturday, Sunday, or Federal Holiday shall be deemed to fall on the following business day.

Looks to me like they can stretch this out until tomorrow if they want.

It could be, at their discretion. Many companies make their personnel policies ambiguous so they can interpret them at will.

They probably don't want to come to work on a Sunday.

I don't think they will match. I do think there is a chance they negotiate a last minute S&T, the offer gets rescinded and then the S&T goes through... but it won't be like the one that fan posted on Twitter, we can't package those newly acquired guys together.

That's not possible once the offer sheet is signed.
