I worship my cat. It's her due.
I believe in being thoughtful, being empathetic to all living beings, respecting other humans and nature, purposefully harboring positivity, creativity and other good traits.
Religion is a way to control others, and allows one to engage in negative behaviors whilst giving oneself the cover of excuse.
I actually love tennis more than basketball but haven't followed it as much as I used to. My wife and I played for decades together...still love to play but now my knees say...ping pong is the way to go. I love the purity of tennis...just two people across a net with a ball and two rackets...a great match can last hours....that's an athlete. No substitutions in that game.
Curious how you reconcile thought one with thought two.
Religion is such theatre.
I empathize with all. I respect other's choices, but that respect is not unimpeachable. When one's choices and actions put them in a mindset to dictate what others can and can't do, I lose that given respect. I still feel empathy and wish the lost could regain their humanity, but I cannot hold their hand.Curious how you reconcile thought one with thought two.

In my opinion, yes. But, only if rolled out compassionately. Things with potential recreational value but also with inherent danger should be legalized, regulated for safety, and people should be educated about what they can do. And a safety net of drug treatment, counseling, and etc can bolster the aforementioned education, and safety measures. Of course, none of this can be accomplished over night, and especially with the neo-con War on _______ that is so pervasive with Republicans and establishment Democrats alike. We have a system that worked ok for the times when society was far more simple, but severely falls short in every way to handle our current more advanced culture and society.Question: Should all drugs be legalized?
I think you should try them all for an extended period so you can make an informed decision...maybe start with Thorazine and then get back to us with your test results! Be sure to purchase a drool cup ...I hear that's a great Thorazine companion!Question: Should all drugs be legalized?
I know the Catholic church imbedded their rules and agenda alongside the tenets of the religion. From the slaughter they directed during the three Crusades, or instigation of the Spanish Inquisition, many centuries ago, political status was important in their reign. The religions' status during the medieval period was for power and political influence. Unfortunately, priests in these times,I'm curious what you mean by this.
So....in essence, it's ALL fucked up.~I would say in the case of fundamentalist religion this would be the case in many circumstances but not in the case of a Taoist monk or Buddhist country like Thailand that has a long history of peace and one of the most accepting cultures of transgendered people on earth....I also think many Pagan religions have not been aggressive about dominating their environment or forcing their beliefs...the aboriginals in Australia or the Hopi or the Pygmies, etc....they get sort of swept under the rug but are practitioners of their own faiths. The biggest abuse of religious doctrine is definitely tied to Catholicism, Christianity and Muslim fundamentalists....I agree with John Lennon though as well. China's atheism under Mao was forced on people and used violence to gain power and keep it so....atheists have their bad history as well. The Russian revolution is another example of violent overthrow of government in the name of atheism.
WELL said!Jesus was not a fan of religion.

I have no need for it but you are seeking answers so I'll be happy to know how it turns out...it was your question. I'm on 3 heart meds currently and have been for 6 years...glad they're not illegal.I'm happy it works for you.

Drugs should not be illegal...abuse of drugs should be illegal.
sort of like cigarettes eh? but if you're a soldier who's stepped on a land mine and lost his legs on the battlefield the medic will probably give you all the shots you want to help you through it...you don't want to take a handful of my heart meds at the same time either but I'm sure someone has lost their life trying...choicesOne shot of heroine is OK, but three is abuse?
sort of like cigarettes eh?
Drug possession and use should be decriminalized. Our efforts should be focused on prevention via education and recovery.Question: Should all drugs be legalized?
I'm going to assume you've never stepped on a land mine as well. Personally when they put a balloon in my heart chamber I'm glad I was knocked out with powerful drugs. Choices ..I sure didn't wake up from surgery a heroin addict though.Something like that, yeah. Heh, I've never had three shots of heroine before.

In a recent poll 81% of Americans reported that they believe in God. This is down from 87% in 2017, 92% in 2011, is the lowest percentage ever, and is well down from the 94% to 98% regularly reported between 1944 and 1967. 83% of women are believers, 80% of men are. 88% of married persons believe in God compared to 77% of those not married.
Dude, you missed the best part! I was (pleasantly) higher than a kite and it was like I was watching a satellite photo. See the big old river that somehow narrowed down to a little tiny stream, then.....voila! Flowing like the Amazon again. There was a little initial discomfort when they expanded the mesh, but it was a good buzz throughout and the procedure was fascinating to watch. That said, one time is plenty.I'm going to assume you've never stepped on a land mine as well. Personally when they put a balloon in my heart chamber I'm glad I was knocked out with powerful drugs. Portugal is known for great food and its relaxed atmosphere. Perhaps, they have a plan.Drug possession and use should be decriminalized. Our efforts should be focused on prevention via education and recovery.
It's worked well in Portugal.
No doubt, you're getting old. When you scope out where bathrooms are at an event, that's proof.I was goofing around as I had mispelled heroin. All good. Glad you're relatively healthy these days. My ticker appers to be doing well. It's my prostate that's caused a few inconveniences in the past few years.
