First off, the Islamic people never have been particularly tolerant of a mass foreign presence, let alone foreign occupiers.
Second, Egypt and Jordan haven't wanted the people from Gaza. Egypt actually has closed its doors to Gazans. The only way they might take them is if Trump uses U.S. funds to pay those countries to take them.
Otherwise, we're probably looking at a mass refugee migration similar to the one from Syria that caused such turmoil in the Middle East and Europe.
This is going to require a pretty massive U.S. military presence. Islamists won't be able to get to Trump, so they'll just target our soldiers instead. If you have friends and family involved in the U.S. armed forces, my heart goes out to you.
Then we've got the idea of increased terrorist plots here in the U.S. Remember, Osama bin Laden started as an ally with the Mujahadeen, the precursor to al Qaeda.
With Tulsi Gabbard now in charge of our intelligence, our usual allies probably won't be as forthcoming with us with intel, including those that involve attacks against our people or on our soil.
Yeah, this is a powder keg. Very high probability this leads to a lot of death, not anything close to peace.
