I see, the herb in question was yourself.
Well, they try marching, and that's not a good way. Athletes try tweeting about it or discussing it in press conferences, and are told that's not a good way. So why the fuck does an old white guy get to tell a young black man what the proper way is to bring recognition to racial inequalities? Because it inconveniences and offends YOU? FUCK THAT! 400 years of being shit on, but now some old white people go clutching their pearls because you didn't do as they say and respect a flag of a nation that has systemically treated you like shit.Personally, I don't think turning your back (kneeling, or whatever) on the emblem that stands for the sacrifices that were made for our freedom (Yes, we're ALL free! I mean, we could've been born in China or North Korea, or...) is the best way to bring recognition to racial equality and social justice. I believe there can be other more appropriate ways to accomplish this.
Which goes unnoticed. If the last week has taught us anything its that it takes a strong abrasive movement to get anyone to listen and pay attention.Personally, I don't think turning your back (kneeling, or whatever) on the emblem that stands for the sacrifices that were made for our freedom (Yes, we're ALL free! How many nights after did you think about the interaction, and wishing if you only had your car taser handy!5? 7? Still comes up on rainy nights?
I've got a 20 ft. lighted flagpole with a gold American Eagle on the top. I fly the flag 24 hours every day proudly. I'd take a knee at an outdoor singing of our National Anthem with my hand over my heart or my hat over my left shoulder if my disability would allow it. I sing the Anthem and I sing America the Beautiful although it really ain't too pretty. I don't like the racism one tiny bit but I still love the flag.I do not--EAT SHIT, Drew!
Kaepernick was kneeling for the exact same reasons that people are protesting for, right now, literally as we speak. That flag doesn't stand for shit, if it doesn't stand for ALL individuals in our Once Great nation.

I'm with you. Every man in my family including me, my father, my brother, every single one of my uncles, all six of them were in the Army except my brother who was in the USMC and one uncle who served in the South Pacific during WWII. One uncle was even in the Baaton Death March in the Army. Even my stepfather was in the Army during the Korean War. Three uncles were Airborne in WWII and one of those continued in the Korean War. My father flew on a B17 in the Army Air Corps. I was in combat in Vietnam in 1968.Personally I disagree with you.
As does every military member in my family current & former.
Even my WW2 vet grandfather disagrees with you.
The guy who would wear his hat ww2 war vet hat to breakfest saturday mornings. Only to have people come up thank him and ask to shake his hand.
But you'll never change. #blindfollower.
Why are you not sure?Uhh, cool!?
sure, but you can probably make it on foot to the store and back without getting choked to death...….perspective...police brutality and equal rights are worth taking a knee for....it's completely appropriate...remember the black gloves at the Olympics way back in the civil rights movement? It's time to recognize the need for major national change regarding privelege and the targeting of minority citizens....I'm a war vet and I'm not offended by a football player protesting treatment of blacks by cops...nobody should be...we should all take a knee together since govt lacks the integrity to police it's own conductPersonally, I don't think turning your back (kneeling, or whatever) on the emblem that stands for the sacrifices that were made for our freedom (Yes, we're ALL free! Amazing that his fans have turned on him so quick. You see CJ’s tweet at him?I’m the biggest Drew Brees fan out there. Might be my favorite athlete. I’m a huge Saints fan for years. But Drew, shut up. Who cares.
This shit should be a non issue

The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose, nor embroidered on cushions or handkerchiefs, printed on paper napkins or boxes, nor used as any portion of a costume.
It's easy to label the other as the other, and this is no different. People find it strange that I collect old US flags (I have 3 large US flags, including one that was from a Navy ship) despite me being liberal and not a republican. I mean, I'm liberal, I'm supposed to hate the flag and burn it!!!1!I do too. And I’m a Trump hating Democrat.
it’s funny though how the Republican Party has portrayed itself as more patriotic. Patriots and bible thumpers are the target audience.
Its catchy
I'm glad someone shows respect for the flag.
And Im sure ABM and Drew are both going to demand these shirts/uniforms stop being made.

since you know, “No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform.” (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/4/8#:~:text=The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but, always allowed to fall free.&text=No part of the flag,a costume or athletic uniform.)
But strangely enough, I don't hear anyone complaining about 'disrespect' to the flag there. Hm, I wonder why. Qwhite the conundrum we got there.
I’ll have to look it up. I’m sure it’s good though. CJ always brings it on the social media circle

I love the flag, but I don't hold it up as some super duper special thing where we use it as a crutch to hate others for celebrating differently or believing differently.
If they're not careful in DC they'll end up back where they started with only 13 states again...original round star pattern..old schoolIts the stars and stripes pattern. It isn't a flag. Using a part of the flag would mean that you use the flag itself as a cape or something along those lines.
If each jersey was made using an American Flag and then cutting out the appropriate patterns and then stitching it into the uniform as the player number, you'd have a point.
