Don't be those fans. Don't be like Houston. It wasn't the refs. We shot more free throws. They committed more fouls.

Houston played well tonight. Harden came to play. Beverley came to play. They were a different team and we still almost beat them.

Good game Houston, and now on to game four.

We went cold and missed a ton of open looks at the end. Can't blame the refs for missing open shots.

We allowed too many offensive boards was the difference.

We got out to that four point lead, and it's like we thought Houston was going to just shut down. There was so much time left, I think 3 minutes. We stopped pressing and we let them back in. I think if we'd pushed the lead to 6, that would have been it.

The Refs didn't loose the game, we did. I get that. But the Rockets benefitted on some key calls that significantly altered, or stopped momentum at different parts of the game.

whats up with the fucking glow sticks. they take them back?

What would have happened of Thomas Robinson's block were not incorrectly called a goaltend?

The OP is exactly right. This one is on us. We were given every opportunity to win the game.

They attempted 15 more field goals. Reminds me of the last Phoenix game where they had attempted way more than we did.

Was pissed they didn't call a timeout at the end of RT to draw up a play.

It wasn't the best look from Dame. I wish they would have drawn something up.

With that said, I think they didn't want to call a timeout because of how hard it's been to get the ball to Dame.

Dude. You started the blame the refs thread before the series even started. My how you have changed. And I like it!

It's the reverse of Game 1. Rockets took a 6 point lead in OT and lost.

We were never up 6 in OT.

Also, yeah. I didn't think the refs did a terrible job. Crawford was whistle happy for both sides... that goaltend was very suspect, but we hung with them on all of Houstons punches, it took a broken ass play and a guy hitting a 3 to beat us.

We will win Sunday. We are fine.

If you don't want me to blame the refs then you'll have to explain why the refs are not responsible for their shitty calls.

I think I'd rather be the team that gets just down a bit at the start of OT and then comes back. There was just so much time left when we went up 4.

There were a few frustrating (bad) calls, but I agree, that's not why the Blazers lost. The Blazers lost because Houston played better from the time Portland was up 4 in OT, through the end... though even still, the Rockets needed a broken-play 3 to pull it out.

I had a bad feeling about this game. I think the Blazers will win on Sunday. But these two teams are really evenly matched, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the series go 6 or 7 games.

This is our worst matchup, which I think was generally agreed before the playoffs. If we can get by Houston, we have a chance at a special season.

I don't blame the refs, just Joey Crawford. Lol

If we play like we did tonight, but put an end to second chance points, we will win the game Sunday.

This ones on the fans. Not nearly loud enough. Should have drowned out crawfuls whistle.

Didn't used to be but Portland fans are more reactive. They need to see something before they get loud.

I remember we will'd roys comeback against dallas. He were hopelessly lost then a giant blaze started growing. His head almost hit the roof and the fans just went nuts. All the sudden roy went nuts. Fans knew a loss was coming. We need the real fans back. Cut prices in half and we win.

122 decibels in there tonight. Can't help television turning the volume down on the fans. The broadcast does no justice to how crazy it was.

It wasn't on the refs. Giving Houston extra possessions via offensive rebounding is the biggest reason the Blazers lost the game, IMO.
